We’ve had a serious issue with this translator app where the translated product URL handle and product title for one product shows up as a completely different product. This creates incorrect links, wrong page content, and confusion for customers.
What’s worse is we had this exact issue before, and it’s happening again so it doesn’t feel reliable or safe to use on a live store. Because of the recurring product-mapping/translation mismatch, we do not recommend this app.

After investigating, we found the root cause: when duplicating a product in Shopify, the "Translations" option is checked by default. If the duplicated product's content is later changed, the copied translations can fall out of sync. To avoid this, uncheck "Translations" when duplicating a product in Shopify, and let TLab handle the translation of the new product fresh.
Our team worked directly with the store, identified every affected product, and resolved the issue. As an extra precaution, we also enabled our Autopilot feature for the store - which automatically keeps translations in sync whenever products are updated, so situations like this are caught and corrected without any manual work.

Their in-person support is helpful and actually reads feedback. I had some issues with their AI bot which was in a learning phase, and they understood my comments and implemented improvements to it.
All in all the product is good, and you can see changes and improvements to it over time. We're happy with it.
although the default translation is not the most ideal and it cost time to manually modify each translation, but import functionality is good, and support is vert patient, help me find out the problem.
This app is one of the best I have installed in the shop. Very fast and first-class support, in case of problems is helped immediately (I had a problem with the glossary at short notice).
It was a great concession from Sherpas and the team. I didn't expect that, actually I would have to give 6+ stars, unfortunately it doesn't work.
This is very good app, makes my life 1000 times easier with my multilingual shop. Without this app and AI translations I would finish my shop by the end of this year maybe.
Whilst the plugin took a while to get my head round, it's a vital plugin for more complex Shopify sites compared to the built in Shopify markets.
But more importantly, the team spent over an hour helping me try and fix an out of stock issue, which Shopify told me was their problem, but it wasn't. It was with Shopify, and I spent weeks chasing the issue.
Genuinely appreciate all the help from Stoycho - he couldn't have gone more out of his way to help!

5 star even when I say: no translation app is perfect, but this one definitely one of the best around. Have been using for many years (since 2021) a different app, where i had to have my own accounts with deepl or console.cloud.google.com to get professional translations (with the associated costs), till i did run into big trouble when we updated to the latest version of our theme (Venue): it seems that we hit the max allowed translations for the shopify locale files so in some languages the shopping cart was partially translated. They could not help me so I tried T-lab: T-Lab was able to do most, not all, but to a workable level, so we switched. I had to get used to the different UI, but it seems i got used to it, having in mind how little I ask support for help, which I did mostly just after switching over. Since it is using the Open AI platform translations keep on improving, and then to think all is included, no additional account charges for the translation engine used. Our website seems to get better every day! I speak 3 languages and the default language we have is Swedish (since we are based in sweden, but my own native language is Dutch so I am able to judge the translation quality in my own language and it is basically incredible! Support for getting you up and running is what is needs to be: GOOD! So no regret having moved over at all. We switched over in beginning of December 2025 and I refuse to write a review after just a few days. Last commend: the few negative reviews of this app: there are always some issues with these translation apps: it is finding how to get around it and make it work. I think we did and yes, that takes some time, but this app is well worth my time
We've been with Weglot for a while and switching to T Lab has been one of the best decisions we've made. It's easy to setup, AI translations are amazing, and works great in combination with glossary rules. The support was very helpful, fast responses and very patient with all our questions. Our website is much faster now, which is ultimately better for SEO and UX. It's great that the emails are also translated.

My first impression is that they go above and beyond to make sure everything goes smoothly. Had some trouble setting up the app, and some unfortunate advice with the AI chatbot that could be improved upon. Fortunately support contacted me directly and have been extremely helpful with setting up the app.
