Downpay: Partial Pay & Deposit

I’m delighted to share my positive experience with Downpay! We’ve been using it in our store for our preorder items, allowing customers to pay half upfront and the rest in 30 days.

I just had a wonderful meeting with Diana, and I truly appreciate the time she dedicated to helping us customize Downpay to fit our needs. She also assisted in setting up workflows that automate our processes and bring our vision to life. This has saved us a significant amount of time, and I’m excited to continue working with Downpay in the future!

Amazing app. I have such a custom, high end product that I desperately needed something like this for many years. When Downpay became an option, I couldn't believe it. I've used it for the better part of a year now and it has done great - lifting our online conversion rate and making it less of a gap to get the customer engaged with the purchase. The app is great but the service is even better. Diana is very on the ball with tweaks and adjustments, helping me tailor the app to our store's needs. I highly recommend this app! Finding this app was heaven sent for my business! I am not very tech savvy but there was lots of easy to follow steps, and if you do get stuck on something like I did on some of the customization I needed, the customer service is fantastic! This was a massive help for a product we crowdsourced. Easy to integrate, and we were in communication with their team throughout the implementation. I would highly recommend it.

I’ve used Kickstarter and have also run crowdfunding directly through Shopify—Downpay made that possible and allowed us to fully own the campaign internally.

Using this app has been seamless and when I don't know HOW...they are quick to respond and help you thru the process. Defiantly a big help to the small business who want to collect down payments until they are ready to ship.

Slipstream is a seasonal business across much of the US and with Downpay are able to run marketing even out of season and also maximize our database by converting much more customers with Downpay's deposit application as it allows us to then customize a ship date based on the customers input. Onboarding was amazing with the team and as I've had questions or needed to determine how Downpay would work with other initiatives, the team was so responsive. I highly recommend this app. It was perfect or our business.

Excellent app. Works well with our 20% down, 80% later needs. Amazing, helpful and responsive team. For an app that affects money and order taking, you want to feel comfortable with quick support, and the DownPay team delivers!

Downpay solved a critical pain point for our high ticket item sales which has caused a lot of headaches and manual work for our operations team having to email and in some cases call each and every customer in order to get their draft order invoice paid to complete their order.

Now with Downpay we can simply vault their card information while communicating when they will be charged their second half balance on their large order, then charge their card when their order is ready in 3 months rather than having to create multiple different orders to complete a single order.

The team has been super helpful as well and more than generous with their time in assisting us setting Downpay and ensuring its working properly with our products and on our custom theme.

I sell photography workshops with a deposit and final payments due 60 days before the start of the event. I tried many different apps before settling on Downpay as I was trying to save a buck hoping one of the free options would work. In short, they didn't meet my needs. Downpay is the only one that has every feature I needed. It works seamlessly and now I can't imagine not having it. I was spooked by the transaction fees at first, but if you reach out to them for a custom plan they will create a plan that works for you at a reasonable yearly rate with no transaction fees. Support is very responsive as well. Stop looking around, this is the app you want.
