DPO Dynamic Product Options

I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed this app sooner. Dynamic Product Options is one of the most powerful and capable apps I use on my Shopify store, and I depend on it daily.

More than that, I depend on Roman. In this case, the developer really is part of the product.

This app can handle everything from simple product options to extremely complex custom configurations. If you need granular control, this is the app. Every option, on every page, allows for CSS and custom input, which is rare and incredibly valuable.

Roman is a very capable developer with a deep, old-school, database-driven level of technical understanding. He can guide you through almost anything you need to accomplish.

That said, this is not a lightweight “click-click-done” app with a breezy interface. It does require time and patience, especially if your setup is complex. The documentation is extensive and technical, but the power is there if you’re willing to learn it.

I always come back to the same conclusion: this app is indispensable to my store. If you need serious control over product options, and you want support from someone who truly understands the system he built, Dynamic Product Options is excellent.

Roman was so helpful with every step along the way! He helped us custom code some tricky formulas and add some cool visuals for custom pricing/discounts. The app is 100% worth the price due to how well it functions and the AMAZING support!

Don't be put off by how complicated it seems on first impressions. I have been looking for an app like this for years and it's very, very good. As others have mentioned as well, the support is off the charts good!

J'utilise l'application DPO pour configurer des pièces de bois massif sur mesure (plan de travail, étagère). Les possibilités de configuration et de personnalisation sont quasiment illimitées, je suis vraiment conquis par la solution. We were having a lot of trouble setting up our shopify store to offer custom printed products as the default pricing for shopify didn't support our needs. We settled on using Dynamic Product Options. It's extremely powerful and can support almost any configuration you can think of. In order to get our site set up the way we wanted it, we needed to rely on Roman from Dynamic Product Options for some customization help, and he was able to provide that quickly and professionally. Once you've been through the process a few times it's actually really easy, and it really didn't take us long to set up our wide range of products and custom options. 10/10, fantastic product with even better support!
Update: Shopify recently made some serious updates that effected a lot of our apps including DPO. After a huge panic, we reached out to DPO support who went above and beyond to fix the issues caused by shopify. In less than 2 hours we were up and running. DPO is a KEEPER.

Highly recommend this app! We've been using it for a long time, and it's perfect for our products with heavy customization options. Roman has been extremely knowledgeable and helpful throughout the process, even providing custom JavaScript to meet our requests.

Absolutely amazing. This is the product options plugin we have all been looking for and it is simply fantastic. The tech support is second to none, Roman was a hero, and the plugin options are so easy and intuitive... I have no complaints at all, and have been looking for a plugin like this for years after using literally every other option available on the Shopify App Store. This plugin is able to go as deep or as simple as you like in terms of product options and customizable look to fit your theme. Could not be happier. Take the dive, you won't regret it!
