Before using Easyship we used three different app's for our domestic and foreign shipments. Now with Easyship it has streamlined our shipments into one app that has all shipped information on one page. I would recommend for any eCommerce vendor to control their shipments.
This app has absolutely changed our business. I Heart Wall Art ship lots of big and bulky items from our workshop outside a major city and it's always been a nightmare to try and find good courier rates. We're getting the best details we've ever had now, and have found the system easy to use and incorporate into our business.
Wish we had have found Easyship 5 years ago. Streamlined our processes and made time-consuming tasks effortless. Much cheaper than other shipping companies as well - at least 1/3 cheaper on most routes.
Easyship literally saved us 50% on shipping costs, which then translated to a higher customer conversion rate. It's so easy to use and the support was amazing. Hiromi is absolutely amazing and Easyship should be happy to have her on their team. She was great! Highly recommend easyship!
The app is really easy to use and very useful in terms of being able to build analytics around all your shipping. Very seamless!
I'm writing this review based on one unique feature of EasyShip.
I ship large but light product boxes. If a customer orders two, they need to ship separately or my shipping costs extend into balloon pricing. All of the other shipping apps seem to think that my light items fit into a single box, and charge accordingly. I could get stuck with big losses on my shipping costs.
Easyship is the only app that allows me to enter the dimensions of my boxes. I'm still figuring it all out, but at least I'm not getting stuck with shipping overages.
Using this app on delight.com.sg to ship to Singapore local market and the overseas market too. App is good in providing competitive quotations from many shipping service providers. However there are many glitches in the app - many times pick up fails, not much help is available if goods get lost in transit. Fails to quote sometimes. Repeat order or single order creating requires quite some of manual data entry. But still, the app is usable and solves some problems. delight.com.sg
Takes out the guesswork for shipping, so that we dont overcharge or undercharge our customers, shortens our processing time.
Easyship helped to streamline my shipping needs and made international a whole lot easier. It's easy to use and support is great, I would recommend it for anyone new to Shopify and wants to simplify their shipping.
However I wish it works/integrates better with the Oberlo app. I have some dropshipping items that don't work with the Easyship app. It would be great if it had more options for a mix of dropshipping and adding of adhoc couriers.
I agree with the feedback left by DreamCastle. It takes three months for the billing from FedEx to be updated to Easyship billing. I am charged when creating labels one amount based upon the actual weight and box dimensions when shipping to the customers. Three months later a bill arrives with numerous adjustments to the shipments and in most cases, and to no surprised, the actual and (true) weights and box dimensions increased the chargeable weight by FedEx. It's no wonder this is a free app and as for me, it doesn't work for our business.
Also, be aware you will be charged by FedEx for Residential Area Surcharge. This amount can be anywhere from $4.40 to just under $10.00. It's depends on how far the delivery is out of the way for the driver. This comes out of your pocket unless you pass this cost onto the customers. Then again, this increase most likely will have your customers shopping elsewhere online.
Be aware, Easyship will nickle and dime you to death. I'm done and will now use USPS and UPS offered by Shopify. It's cheaper.
