Easyship ‑ All in One Shipping

This is the only real usable shipping software for companies. There are so many options for both domestic but most importantly international.

Many shipping software don't have Fedex as an option, you have to add your own account. Fedex has a new shipping option, International connect plus that is so affordable and quick. (Fedex only allows this if you have your own account if you ship 30k worth of packages a year.) None of my customers say that there are additional brokerage fees yet.

The userface is really easy to use. You can do bulk edits very easily. You can merge same destination shipments (shopify does not let you do that, you need an app). There is a feature that lets you automatically add insurance. You can create a manifest. You can track the packages easily and ask for a refund for the label and insurance claims, and when you process the labels the custom forms populate with the shipping labels.

On my computer the software lags extensively, and there are printer issues that emerged, as in the software would not populate shipping labels and if it did it would not be formatted correctly. I was told to use a different browser and that did fix the printer issue. Dhl is much cheaper on shopify, sometimes as much as $20 and shopify offers free DHL pickup with the purchase of the label.

The really cool feature is what your customers see at checkout. They will see 3 options, cheap, middle, and quickest/most expensive. Then, your international customers will also see what they will pay in taxes and duties. That feature was on my site for the first 2 years. Then, it wasnt. I contacted easyship and they said it was shopify, I contacted shopify and they said it was easyship. I was on a grandfathered plan for both of them and after the hassle and 2 years, i decided to upgrade both plans and that still did not solve it.

The onboarding process was great. Mine was years ago so not sure how it is now.

This is a great software, there are issues and sometimes they are fixed and sometimes they are not. But compared to other shipping software this is really great.

Really Really bad, software looks easy to use has plenty of bugs and issues here and there that you will discover on the long term. Our current issue is that DHL shipments will never work in DDP mode. So end customers will always be charged for taxes whatever terms you select (DDU / DDP) . Please BE AWARE that if you have an issue, the dev team will never fix it.

I tried a couple other solutions (Shippo, Stamps) before learning about Easyship. Both apps sucked. Like they were built in a weekend by someone who has never shipped anything. Then I tried Easyship. They integrate very well with Shopify, creating packing inserts to help me pick + pack. The app also has a “Rules” feature that makes it very easy to drag/drop logic like “if this order value, add insurance.” Or “if this country, always choose this courier.” Effortless. Like coding your own logistics solution without any code. And I especially enjoy the package algorithm. If you provide the correct dimensions and weights of each product inside Shopify Admin, Easyship will automatically choose the right box for you. Including from your own collection of boxes.
