Really helpful in navigating the ongoing tariff and duty changes across the EU and USA. They helped us implement solutions to prepay duties, ensuring a seamless customer experience without unexpected charges on delivery. They were quick to respond, thoroughly investigated our queries, and even carried out trial testing to confirm everything worked correctly, giving us extra reassurance throughout the process.
I have been using Easyship for approx 18 months, it's a lot of work to set it up but once you are through that pain things generally work well. That was the case until about 6 months ago, at the end of 2025 I noticed a real decline in the availability of support staff for help with issues. It is now so bad that the AI bot is far more human and efficient at providing support than the support team. The support team are extremely slow to respond, use the same scripts to communicate and show no empathy or interest in your actual issue. I am owed money from Easyship for a UPS overcharge, my "service ticket" has been open since 27th January (today is 4th June) and I am still waiting and still chasing. Today they closed another open ticket I have (another UPS overcharge) and they have refunded me a lesser amount than I was originally charged. It's sloppy and very very poor service. They sent me a link to review them following the closure of this ticket so this is my honest opinion of them based on my experience.
We've been using Easyship for years and only recently got on board via Shopify. The transition was painless for both the initial setup and implementation - the plugin just works and is easy to connect. Easyship even did a customization for us that's been working solidly and allowed us to expand to using multiple warehouses seemlessly. You can't ask for better support than that!
We use Easyship specifically to manage international shipments for our EU 3PL operations, and it has been a reliable solution for our needs. The Shopify integration works smoothly, making it easy to route orders and manage international shipping requirements without adding complexity to our fulfillment process.
The platform provides good visibility into shipments and helps simplify coordination between our store and fulfillment partners. Whenever we've needed assistance, the support team has been responsive and helpful.
Overall, Easyship has been a valuable part of our international fulfillment workflow, and we would recommend it to merchants looking for a streamlined way to manage global shipping through Shopify.
As a first timer, I had a lot of questions when setting up EasyShip with our 4 warehouses (we took on a lot out of the gate!). Lots of back and forth to get set up (box types, shipping rules, couriers, etc.) with all of the parties. Now that it's set up, it's straightfoward and reliable to use. I appreciate having a human point of contact when needed (sometimes the support tickets just disappear and it's hard to know what's open and what cases have been handled, etc.), so that's great; Avantika has been really helpful to work with!
I used Easyship to send a FedEx shipment to Canada and prepaid the import charges through Easyship. We were charged $441.18 USD for Import Tax plus a $15.00 USD DDP Handling Fee.
Despite this, FedEx later contacted the recipient before delivery and required an additional $238.97 CAD for the package to be released. FedEx’s breakdown showed $0.00 duty, $227.00 CAD GST/HST, and a small clearance/ROD fee.
Easyship initially acknowledged the issue and said they were working with FedEx to have the charge waived. However, the client ultimately had to pay FedEx to receive the package. To protect the customer experience, we refunded the client out of our own pocket, but we have still lost the client over the lack of clarity and trust around this shipment.
The bigger concern is that FedEx’s requested amount was substantially lower than what Easyship had already charged us. We would never have known there might be a discrepancy or overcollection if FedEx had not asked the customer to pay again.
I followed up multiple times asking Easyship for an itemized explanation of how the $441.18 USD import tax charge was calculated, why FedEx required an additional $238.97 CAD, and whether any overcollected or duplicate payment would be refunded. I have not received a response since June 10th.
I understand that international duties and taxes can be complicated. What I do not understand is collecting hundreds of dollars in prepaid import charges, having FedEx require the recipient to pay again, and then not providing a clear explanation after repeated follow-ups.
I would be happy to update this review if Easyship provides a transparent itemization and resolves the duplicate/over-collected charges, but at this point I cannot trust their DDP/import tax process for future international shipments, or honestly any of their other rates.
After using 3+ different platforms to ship orders to my international customers, Easyship is by far the best I've worked with. Their pricing is competitive, the platform is easy to use, and their customer support has been outstanding whenever I've needed assistance.
Shipping internationally can be challenging, but Easyship has made the process much smoother and more reliable. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a dependable shipping solution for their business.
Been using EasyShip for several years now. The ease of use with their external integrations - especially with Shopify - is our largest win with them. Also their network of couriers and warehousing partners globally provide them a huge draw for those trying to scale and enter new markets.
Powerful shipping solution with excellent support !
Easyship has been a very useful solution for connecting our Shopify store with a more professional shipping setup. The platform gives access to different courier options, international shipping rates, DDP/DDU choices, shipping rules, product/package configuration, and tools that help manage orders more efficiently.
At first, the setup felt quite technical because we needed to configure products, package sizes, shipping rules, courier options, tax and duty settings, and test shipments. However, once everything was properly set up, Easyship became much clearer and gave us much better control over our shipping process.
The biggest advantage for us is being able to compare courier options, understand international shipping costs, and prepare our Shopify store for UK and international orders. For a food/sauce business shipping jars and bottles, having accurate package and courier configuration is very important.
I also have to mention the support experience. Vivek from Easyship support was extremely helpful, patient and professional. He guided me through long setup steps, helped clarify DDP/DDU shipping, KYC verification, test shipment preparation, and followed up again afterwards to make sure the remaining questions were handled. That support made a big difference and helped us configure the store properly.
Overall, Easyship is a powerful shipping app for Shopify merchants who need more control over domestic and international shipping. It may take some time to configure correctly, but with the right support, it can become a very valuable tool for managing shipping professionally.
I've only been using Easyship for 6 months, but I've been pleased. I am thrilled that I don't have to know about the different forms required if shipping to different countries!
