Merchants appreciate the wide range of domestic and international shipping options, user-friendly interface for bulk edits and tracking, and customizable rates. The integration with e-commerce platforms and transparent costs at checkout enhance the shipping process. Effective customer support and an intuitive insurance claims process further improve the merchant experience. Continuous improvements and a comprehensive dashboard are also valued for easing onboarding and boosting satisfaction.

This is the only real usable shipping software for companies. There are so many options for both domestic but most importantly international.
Many shipping software don't have Fedex as an option, you have to add your own account. Fedex has a new shipping option, International connect plus that is so affordable and quick. (Fedex only allows this if you have your own account if you ship 30k worth of packages a year.) None of my customers say that there are additional brokerage fees yet.
The userface is really easy to use. You can do bulk edits very easily. You can merge same destination shipments (shopify does not let you do that, you need an app). There is a feature that lets you automatically add insurance. You can create a manifest. You can track the packages easily and ask for a refund for the label and insurance claims, and when you process the labels the custom forms populate with the shipping labels.
On my computer the software lags extensively, and there are printer issues that emerged, as in the software would not populate shipping labels and if it did it would not be formatted correctly. I was told to use a different browser and that did fix the printer issue. Dhl is much cheaper on shopify, sometimes as much as $20 and shopify offers free DHL pickup with the purchase of the label.
The really cool feature is what your customers see at checkout. They will see 3 options, cheap, middle, and quickest/most expensive. Then, your international customers will also see what they will pay in taxes and duties. That feature was on my site for the first 2 years. Then, it wasnt. I contacted easyship and they said it was shopify, I contacted shopify and they said it was easyship. I was on a grandfathered plan for both of them and after the hassle and 2 years, i decided to upgrade both plans and that still did not solve it.
The onboarding process was great. Mine was years ago so not sure how it is now.
This is a great software, there are issues and sometimes they are fixed and sometimes they are not. But compared to other shipping software this is really great.
I've used Easyship (and their affiliated warehouse for inventory management and fulfilment) for a few years now and overall, it's a good combination as a small business owner. They drastically reduce the time spent on fulfilment so that I can focus on other parts of the business.
While they offer favourable rates on most couriers due to their volume, if you're often using your local postal services, this will cost quite a bit more than doing it yourself because they don't offer discounts, and Easyship's margins will add to that cost. But for the time saved, plus the ability to offer my customers 3 shipping options each time (cheapest, fastest and best value), it's a no-brainer for me to continue using this service.
There have been hiccups along the way but most of the time (as I'd expect from all companies who offer global shipping), their support is quick and efficient.
This APP was working pretty well for well over a year and then started sending us UPS overcharges weekly for multi package shipments. Some times more than double what the APP had quoted us. This caused us to lose money on a number of orders and when we contacted Easyship they insisted that it was not their responsibility and requested detailed pictures of packages that had left our building weeks before in oder to file a claim. They then wanted us to recreate the packages and send them pictures wasting time and materials on our end. They say that it is up to the courier to have the final say. Even when they can check the system and see that we had shipped two packages and printed two labels they allow UPS to come back and bill for four packages. There is a serious communication issue between this platform and the UPS API and when pressing the chat agent to speak with someone in management my request fell on deaf ears. I am sure that I can not be the only customer having this issue so I would assume that Easyship has no real interest in resolving the problem and is simply going to rely on the fine print in their agreement so point the finger at UPS and continue to allow them to bill in excess of the services rendered. In all honesty you should keep shopping for a shipping APP and skip this one entirely. They have somehow managed to not allow Google reviews of their company. That alone tells you something.
We're sorry to hear about your experience. Our team have been in touch with you to help look into a resolution. Please get in touch with us if you have any questions.
My honest opinion. I used this app at first because it seems easier and more reliable. it was working fine with a few issues here and there. when you ship hazardous items it doesn't mention it on the label at all so you can have problems without realizing(Its my first time so I had no idea), and when you ship international using certain carriers it doesn't give you the full list of the things you need or that are okay. for example it doesn't tell you that FedEx needs you to buy their boxes only, that they will use the wrong label size and weight you had for your previous box and put it on the new one. result is you pay insane custom fees for the wrong label when you didn't do anything wrong :) beware. the support was decent. sometimes you get someone useful sometimes not. most of the time I sent emails and didn't get answers back. the only time they worked hard was to tell me to change my review if they fixed the issue which is why I'm writing this.
Lauretta. S.Vaas helped me with my FedEx issue and refund therefore I'm giving this review 4 stars just because of her. for the general experience i would give 2 stars at best.
I am highly impressed with the responsiveness of easyship customer service. They are very friendly and helpful when we need them. Our customers are also very happy with our shipping results so far!
While the platform can be challenging to use at times, the support makes up for it. They are very willing to help with various shipping challenges and also give support when shipping to a new location.
Daniel was great! I accidentally disconnected us when I refreshed the page. Thank you for your help Daniel. Easy Ship support is always so great!
The platform is simple and easy to use. And the rates are better than any other option I've found online - and I did A LOT of research. Extremely beneficial for Australian business with needs to ship to and from the US.
Great experience solving an edge case with Emily and the tech support team. They went above and beyond to figure out what was my problem and solving it within a day. Having been using easyship for almost a year now and really loving the platform and service.
Your pricing model is insane. $70 for multi box shipment, and you STILL charge per label for bring my own carrier? The integration still failed as well.
I tried to close my account that was created 30 minutes ago and got a message about "outstanding balance". I never shipped anything, just started the "free trial", what balance??
Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry to hear that we couldn’t meet your expectations on this occasion.
