Extremely disappointing experience with Gameball. The domain verification simply does not work, and the app keeps giving an error saying “something went wrong.” I contacted support multiple times, and every time they replied very late with the same copy-paste steps that I had already completed correctly. I explained this clearly, yet they sent me the exact same message again and again, creating an endless loop of unhelpful and frustrating support.

The issue was never solved, and there was no real assistance or escalation from their team. A loyalty app is critical for customer retention, but if the basic setup fails and support is this slow and ineffective, it becomes useless. Definitely not recommended.

Honestly, wow, I can’t say enough good things about Gameball. Not only is their UX, intuitive, it’s also very very simple and easy to operate. They have a very generous free trial that literally feels like you are getting much more. They encourage new business to use game all and get the most out of their customers. That’s all with out speaking about the real possibilities with their paid membership, which truly opens the door to unmatched possibilities. When I grow my business to the level where I’m able to actually get the paid membership even though it’s quite steep. From using the free trial, I’ll definitely be getting the pro. A special shout out to the customer service team, specifically Roushan and Kareem. Had quite a few teething problems when launching and they were so pro-active, helpful, supportive. Genuine people who genuinely wanted to help. And they resolved my issues very quickly while keeping me updated every step of the way. I have trial a few loyalty apps and systems. But by far as a whole, the loyalty system, the customer service, I’ve even secured a few customers because of it. Everything is literally top tier. 10/10 I would 100% highly recommend.

I’m impressed with how fun and effective Gameball is. Our customers love earning badges, unlocking challenges and seeing their progress in the leaderboard. It’s not just points-and-burn – it actually makes loyalty feel playful. I’ve tried a few other loyalty apps before, but I think I’ll stay with this one. We’ve already seen an increase in average order value and return rate since launch. On top of that, support were friendly and helpful from day one. Five stars!

Le support est très réactif il n'y a rien à dire !

Juste le prix du plan PRO est super cher et c'est dommage...
Peut etre augmenter un peu le montant du plan STARTER et avoir les avantages du PRO serait une bonne stratégie.
Ou bien baisser le prix du PRO pourrait en faire basculer plus d'1. :)

A lot of well-implemented features for gamification of the user account. You can configure actions after which site visitors will receive points. This gives you the opportunity to implement interesting interactions with your customers, which potentially encourages them to complete the payment and repeat purchases.
At first, it may be difficult to navigate the settings, although the interface is at the best level, but the support works well and suggests how to configure everything better.

Feedback:

The support was very good. Although my problem wasn't resolved immediately, they assured me that this feature will be added in the future. I hope they can implement it as soon as possible for all merchants with physical shops using Shopify POS like us.

Request:

I have a physical shop using Shopify POS. Often, clients who visit our physical shop do not have an account in our Shopify system, but we can create one for them without any issues. However, my question is: How can I identify clients when they make purchases at our physical shop?

Currently, asking for their email address, name, or address every time they make a purchase is impractical abd some client does not want to give their infomation in the public area. Is there a way to identify clients using a loyalty card with a barcode (could be physical card or digital card )? By using this method, when someone comes to buy products in our physical shop, I would only need them to show their card with a barcode. I could then scan this barcode with our scanner, and all their purchases would be directly added to their account, accumulating points.

I’m unsure if you’ve experienced this, but stores like H&M, Zara,... or any supermarket often ask if you want to create an account. They then provide you with a membership card with a barcode. Every time you make a purchase, you can simply scan the card, and all your purchases and points are added to your account.

UPDATED REVIEW: I have to say the people at Gameball are very responsive and they got the problem I initially asked for (my original review is below) fixed, so this is now included! I have contacted them a few times and they have bent over backwards to be helpful and REALLY want your business to grow - thanks, Dania :-).

ORIGINAL REVIEW: It has been working well, however I've had to disable it as it seems I can't exclude points from the Sale/Reduced items. Therefore, I'm regularly giving double discounts. Other loyalty point apps I've looked at have to ability to exclude discounted products and only include full price products from receiving points. I wish Gameball could do this. This is quite a big issue for me. Apart from that, it was working well.

Unfortunately I have to change review-the app is not working, we haven't got one signle customer signing up for our program after spending days designing it, because it doesn't work. Support is impossible to talk to - their chat is never working. We're getting a better app.

Nice app and Dania from CC is one of the best, really appreciate her help! After a long search finaly we've found it one of the best tool that we've looked for to help us to increase LTV of our customers and increase the revenue without spending a lot on CAC! Thank you!
