Hi,
We are getting error while integrating Google anlytics GA4 property with Shopify. The admin access of the Google ads, Google Analytics is with same email id.
I am not able to select a target country and language, It doesn't show the options so I cant click anything and it doesn't work to write anything in that line either. I am just stop in the setup process because of that so this app is not working for me. And yes I have tried on multiple devices and waited for weeks and checked again and it's the same problem.
Hi, have you sent us a ticket on this yet? The drop-down populates countries based on the currency of your Shopify store. If you're using ISK/Iceland as your store currency, this doesn't look to be supported by Google Merchant Center yet

If you have Markets and Shipping set up to countries outside of Iceland, we hope to give you the ability to select those instead of Iceland as your markets by the end of the year, which would unblock you.
Can you tell me if the purchase goal is tracked automatically when integrating Shopify with GA4, or does it need to be set up through GTM?
Hi! If you use the GA4 connection through the app, you do NOT need to set up GTM yourself as well. This would potentially double tag your events. The App was built to do this for you!

It's ok, the application, although it consumes a lot of time. Because each product has to be configured again in metafields. It doesn't generate enough traffic to be worth the time invested. I prefer to redirect this attention to Facebook marketing, because that's where the money comes from, not from Google search
Hi, you don't actually have to set up every metafield again. If you have the data already present in your Shopify data, we use those data fields. The Google Metafields are there in case the field doesn't exist in Shopify (Like MPN) or if you need a Google-specific override.
Sorry if this wasn't clear and you were double-typing in all your data!
App was easy enough to set up - but once completed the 'customer events' app pixel still says 'disconnected' when every part of the app set up has been complete and they all say 'connected' because of this we went 12 hours with no data running from our store to Google ads/analytics etc.
No explanation or help on how to get the app pixel to 'connect'
This app is garbage.
When setting up there is no option to add an existing Google Merchant account number, you can only create an entirely new google merchant account.
This leads to an endless loop of Google/Youtube saying my domain is owned by another merchant. And the Claim Ownership function doesn't work.
So it's imposisble to get my Shopify store ads under my Youtube channel.

I get why all the one star reviews are coming
It's because this app works completely different depending on what Shopify Payment plan you are using
it works superbly if you are on Shopify Plus, but if you are using any lower plans the entire UI of the app changes to give you a worse experience...
We run multiple Shopify shops and cannot recommend this if you are not on the Shopify Plus plan
