One Problem chases the other. There is easy and working AND then there is Google channel, which is not working at all.

Horrible app. Used to be 100x easier to fix errors. I will pay for another app just so I don't have to use this one anymore.
Please, Shopify, focus on the platform improvements and much, much less on apps. Let 3P's address those needs.
I found the app easy to set up BUT the app is displaying the wrong price for some (but not all) products.
Specifically, it appears that in some cases the logic is selecting the lowest price of the available variants for a given product rather than the actual variant price. For example; My product X has variants x, xx and xxx. If variant x = $10, variant xx, $20 and variant XXX $30; the Ad is displaying variant xx price as $10, rather than $20.
I logged the issue but no help forthcoming to date (it's been a few days). The issue was raised via a customer asking for variant xx at the 'advertised price'.

Do not use this app. We enabled the smart campaign which added a bunch of pixels and tags to our site - there was no documentation or notice that this was happening. The tags inflated the conversions across all campaigns in the google account (other PPC campaigns and display). This created huge confusion, led to us increasing budgets, losing money, etc.
I used this app to try to get more sales driven to my online store. am still waiting for the wow effect. maybe my expectations were too high.

It can definitely take some time to see results after setting up the Google Shopping application and creating a Smart Shopping campaign.
It can take up to fifteen days for your ads to start appearing across Google's surfaces. Google's optimization period takes thirty days in total for its algorithm to learn where, when, and how to place your products.
You should start seeing some impressions once the fifteen-day period ends, but the campaign will not be fully optimized until the end of the thirty days.

Definitely not happy. Google uses WAY TOO MANY automated admins where they don't actually check your products. We have face oil that is organic and all natural yet they continually reject it as a medical product. We make no claims or have any medicinal ingredients in it. Also our tooth powder and many other things like our 2 & 3 packs of natural deodorant. They approve the 1 deodorant option but not multiples??? Huh? So unprofessional. Get real PEOPLE working on these issues!
And they also won't take down fraudulent reviews from people that have never used our products. These are disgruntled humans that had a back and forth conversation with us and they didn't like our response. That's life, get over it. Sometimes people are not going to agree with you! But they put up a 1 star google review because they are babies. Reviews are for the PRODUCTS or SERVICES which an argument from some person online is NOT service. Service only comes into play if they are a buying customer. These fraudulent reviews should NOT be allowed!! Disgraceful.

We do our best to enforce policy in order to protect merchants and consumers. Sometimes overflagging does occur and in that case it is possible to request a review if you disagree. The worst customer support ever. Very disappointing. My Merchant account has been suspended for "misrepresentation" and Google won't tell me what's wrong. All they say is follow our policies. It's kind of a riddle that you have to solve. Worst part is there's no customer support. Also been having other issues with google workspace and again no customer support, even though they mention 24/7 customer support for google workspace, which is "misrepresentation". There's no customer support at Google Period. I bet their reply to this review is "learn more about our policies". Extremely disappointing!!
I haven't opened the store but with google, I'm sure it will work. The app sounds great and it's highly recommended.
