This app provided by Google automates everything and make a very poor optimized campaign for your products. Not only that, from time to time it will block your Merchant account and you will end up with little to no help trying to figure out what API the app made to break the data. Not recommended at all, I would think google would have good software developers to build a good experience but it looks like that's not true anymore.

This do not work. I was thinking it just was my luck but looking at all the reviews it's not just me. I have troubleshoot so many times. Google no help and shopify def not any help.

Since having to update the old app to this version, Two months ago, I have had nothing but trouble. My sales are down 50-60%.
Having contacted both Shopify and Google support several times over the last Two months, my shopping campaign has gone from bad to worse!

Over half of my products were pending, however, support have re-synced the products twice and now there are only a few still "pending". Despite that, my sales, clicks, conversions and everything else have dropped. I increased my
add spend, but strangely this has had no effect on my conversions/ sales.

The new "Smart" campaign is terrible, with less features that the old campaigns. You get no useful support with either Shopify or Google on how to execute it correctly.

My Original Google shopping app and campaign was doing really well, this app have almost ruined my business.

I am at a loss as to what to do.

Maybe the only option is to drop this app and go to a Paid app, and start all over again!

I keep getting suspended for misrepresentation. I understand that it's an issue on Google's side but it seems like there's not really a checklist to help users out on the Shopify side. All we have is a vague merchant center policy we can read through and based on other reviews, it seems like doing everything right isn't enough to get things moving. Can you at least tell us that someone from Shopify is speaking to someone from Google in order to fix and avoid such issues. It's frustrating in ways that you cannot imagine...

This app is crap absolutely crap I have setup the merchant center already and it still can't fetch the entire info and in the country and language dropdown, the dropdown itself isn't working. Absolute waste of time. It is disappointing to see Google written on an app that is on such level of crap.

This app is drastically flawed as is the logic behind it. I wouldn't recommend using it. Go for one of the paid apps with a good rating, it will worth every cent. We used this free app for a number of weeks and only had half of our products approved by Google because the GTIN was missing despite them being entered in Shopify. Shopify support told us to delete the MPN as this was the primary identifier the app sends to Google if both the GTIN and MPN exist. This is flawed. Google's primary identifier is the GTIN so this is the identifier that the app should be sending as the priority, not the MPN. So we switched to another app we use on another site and within hours, all of the products were approved by Google with no changes to product data whatsoever. Shopify should be way better than this and this app is damaging to the Shopify brand.

If you are a beginner, don't get your hopes up! You do not get with shopify any support and from google ... just forget it! super complicated and frustrating!

I used this app because it is an official Google channel. Unfortunately, Google made it impossible for me to get all my products approved despite being an authorized dealer and simply following the manufacturer's policies. Super frustrating to work on my business just so Google won't give it even a chance. Customer support is polite but unhelpful.
