I'll let everyone else talk about how seamless this integration is, but I want to talk about the Support team. We ran into an issue connecting to Mailchimp. I clicked to contact support for the integration and they actually helped! It turned out there was a real issue. (It wasn't me.) I worked with David, who kept in touch every day, asking if I could try one more thing and assuring me that the team was working on it. And they were! It turns out that there was some old code from a previous version of the integration that was still lurking around and causing issues. They found it and fixed it. Now it's working great. It's easy to complain when things aren't working right, but the communication was so great that I was confident that it would be fine.
On the integration itself: The fact that your products load automatically makes creating emails so much faster!
I've been using this app for years to connect to my MailChimp account and it works great. I ran into a glitch when I created a new audience in MailChimp and couldn't get The connection changed to the new audience. Which meant I couldn't use a Shopify purchase as a trigger in a new automation. Long story short, Dean at customer support was super helpful when I reached out using the chat option. I even disconnected a couple times by accidentally closing the wrong window. Each time I signed back into a new chat, Dean would find me and continue where we left off. Stellar support! Highly recommend this app if you want to connect your store to MailChimp.
I'd been using Mailchimp for years when I worked in email marketing for larger companies and when I started my own small business I knew I'd want to continue using it (over the many other programs I'd also used). I'm so glad the Shopify Mailchimp integration is back! I've found it easy to work with and it's great for email customization, automated drip campaigns, and lead gen forms on my website. I especially like the newer multi-step pop-up forms! Recently I had noticed a syncing error with my pop-up form and shopify sharing customer data, but I worked with Paul and Rafael in integrations and they got it fixed and kept me updated along the way. Very happy with their service! The only con I have is the pricing is a bit high for me as a small business and I wish the SMS credits rolled over month to month, but I still think it's well worth it and will continue to use it with my store.
This is a very useful integration to increase revenue and repeat sales through Shopify. The pre-built segments are great and intuitive to customize.
Both Dean and David from the integration support were very helpful in assisting me in disconnecting an old account and getting the new one synced.
I had an issue with my Mailchimp account that I couldn’t figure out, and Dean solved it quickly and professionally. He was responsive, clear in his communication, and knew exactly what to do. I really appreciated his efficiency and support. Highly recommend him if you’re facing any Mailchimp-related problems!
Superb! We are using this app since 2012 in different platforms. Very useful app and very easy to setup emails. We also like sms marketing.
Lori and Rafael helped me with really stellar customer service getting my set up and sign up done! wish all online customer service agents were like this lol. easy quick straight forward answers! The problem seemed like a REAL hassle too, we got disconnected a bunch of times but every single time i got right back reconnected with Lori who was able to help me through the entire thing! Like i mentioned the issue i was having seemed particularly tricky also but with the screen shots and guidance provided Lori has COMPLETLY resolved my issue im excited to get to using mail chimp
We've been a Mailchimp and Shopify user for several years. Recently ran into some syncing issues and after working with several support agents, we were connected to David. He was kind, patient & responsive and was finally able to resolve the issue for us. David gets 5 stars.
Not sure what happened to Mailchimp but my bills started out reasonable but as my business grew, my bill ballooned into this extreme amount each month. What’s worse is when I went to cancel, they charged me even more for “additional contact blocks” what for? No clue… …. Felt like they were holding my account as ransom and I had to pay $100 to close my account to avoid the new monthly fee from hitting my card…. There are a lot of options out there, choose one of them.

The app was having issues syncing, but customer service was great, and helped me considerably with our core issue of fake sign-ups.
