This module is a great tool to convert your shop into a fully functioning marketplace. It facilitates the process of adding sellers and keep track of their sales. Sellers (or vendors) can have their own profile and collection page with variety of products. Admin (or merchant) can easily set individual commission and global commission for all the sellers.

In Shopify Multivendor Marketplace App , we have introduced the much awaited feature of INVOICE. Now in Multivendor Marketplace app admin and vendor both can generate invoice from their respective ends

Commission Management: Commission is the admins share in the seller's order.

Multivendor Marketplace lets the store admin to add global as well as individual commission for the seller.

Global Commission : This will be applicable for all sellers.

Individual Commission for Seller : If admin want to have different commission rate for different seller then can do it with individual commission.
*Also the commission can be a fixed amount or percentage wise as well for both global as well as individual commission.

Tax Distribution -

In multivendor marketplace admin can choose to distribute the tax on the product in three ways :

Admin only : Whole product tax will be given to the admin.

Divide Between Sellers : Whole product tax is divided proportionally between the sellers.

Proportion Between Admin & Seller : Tax distributed proportionally among the admin and the seller.

Sellers Orders -

Sellers can easily manage the orders through the 'orders' from the seller account. From here, seller can view all the orders placed and can check the status.


  • Seller can get the order status update .
  • Seller can keep the track of order.
  • Seller can fulfill the order from "orders" page .
  • Seller can view the mode of payment through which customer has paid for the product.

Event Based Notification Mails-

With Shopify Multivendor Marketplace following mails will be sent for the event :


  • Mail to Admin for seller request approval/disapproval.
  • Mail to Admin for product approval/disapproval.
  • Mail to Admin, when the Seller edits the Approved Product.
  • Mail to seller when the order is placed.
  • Mail to customer about the order fulfillment.
  • Reminder mail to sellers for the order fulfillment.

Multivendor Shipping : Now We have introduced Shipping in Multivendor Marketplace App which will enable the admin to configure shipping methods from his end for vendors and vendors can configure the shipping methods on the basis on price or Weight of the product.

Multivendor Seller Buyer Chat : We are here to bridge the gap between buyer and seller/vendor by this app which will enable them to communicate through this app. Now the buyer and the seller can communicate directly to each other.

Multivendor Ask A Question : Now customers can ask questions related to the products directly from the vendors of the products. Both admin can vendors will be able to view and answer the questions asked.

This is the very best app if you are seeking a marketplace experience for your platform. The customer service is 5 stars as well. They respond to every request right away and offer tons of customizations. The Webkul company makes tons of different apps for your company store. I would recommend them all! Absolutely the best!!

Wow. Best Support ever. All of my questions which where more than 20 and every day a new one were answered by Neha super fast and cordially. I know for developers and customer service its really annoying for clients to ask every day instead at once. These guys never ever were discouraged to give us the best service.

The APP does really everything it says it does. It was an easy install and like I said WebKul really wants to help you with your build and will answer all questions super fast.

Thanks to Neha that was always there when we needed it. Thank you WebKul you guys are awesome

This is a great solution for us! The webkul team is very responsive and helpful. The dashboard can be a little tricky to navigate at times but is overall a great product. Would definitely recommend, check out the demo login and check it out. -Steven

Too slow, lots of bugs, no custom domain-based url for seller sign up.

Revisit on 6/1
Seller profile page is significantly slow. it is more than a minuite. It's US Friday, they don't fix this issue until next business day. sucks.
I also use their Shopify sync app. I am charged monthly. The app has a lot of problems. The seller can never successfully sync at one time. I had to follow up many times. The order was not created in the seller's shop and I had to apologize the seller. Webkul just said this issue has been resolved. they never express an apology nor offer a discount. I just have to continue to pay for the incomplete app. I don't recommend.

Very unstable and unreliable app. what happened the past 2 days.
1. one particular commission didn't come to me. how can I recover??
2. all seller's logo shows their strange thumbnail all of sudden. they fixed though. no guarantee when it will happen again.
3. sellers' page don't show any products. this should be the seller's showcase and it is the most important page.
4. the seller reported he can't log in the seller page, thus, can't fulfill the order

well, this is happening on weekend. they won't reply until Monday. it is a nightmare. You'll never imagine such things. I wish I had known before I engaged...

I edit rating from 3 to 2. although I read all reviews before I decided to use the app, I've been patient. At their request I considered to change my first review rating better and tried to work with them. I am in the U.S. their response's speed, mainly Nitika, is sometimes a next day due to a time lag, no response over the weekend. sometimes, 2 days, sometimes answered all, or didn't answer all my questions, which really not working. she mentioned I can be connected via phone over the weekend. nobody responded. they have US call number but nobody responded, so I called them in India if they didn't answer my tickets.

if you think to use this app, you need to know:
their commission is computed on the price, so, a third party app or Shopify code are not affected. generally, sellers expect a commission is based on the final price. but this app doesn't compute a discount, so, you or sellers have to manually change price and compare at price for a limited time sales.

On seller's page, there are no sorting feature of products. imagine your sellers have lots of products, a buyer has to go through many pages. I asked to add it, I was told this is a paid order.

there are some product custom fields available in the app. I found errors on the front-end and opened the tickets. she fixed only some products. I have no time to check a single product whether they properly fixed or not since I no longer rely on. Finding error and bugs is not my job. Until they fix, I can't even start an operation. I'm still waiting for her response.

I ordered some custom feature without knowing their problem. one of these was delivered with critical problems. they haven't answered yet. I don't suggest to order custom paid features. Basically, until you ask a question, they don't explain in advance. thus, you will be surprised when you knew you lost some features for exchange since you were not informed beforehand.

My developer complains about their API as well.

Unfortunately, I feel that they are not thinking Shopify app users are important and respectful. My surprises are countless. they know their customer services are poor since they are looking at the reviews. they just don't improve their supports' quality, instead, ask to increase rating...

The BEST app in terms of options, functionality and customer support. Less 24 hr turn around time for support and they are extremely helpful. They explain the basics of the store setup, adding product variants and even running custom SQL scripts.

To start off, let me give some context as to why I'm writing this review.

I sell a product that is inherently a single-quanity item. I asked if they could disable the ability for my sellers to have more than 1 quantity. They said that would cost TWO HUNDRED FIFTY DOLLARS just to disable it.

Second of all, this app is just really unstable. It barely works at times and the translations are absolutely terrible. Sometimes my sellers passwords just don't work sometimes and they're forced to reset their accounts for no reason.

This app is expensive as hell but it barely delivers on its promises. It's not that I don't want to recommend this app, it's that I can't recommend this app. It's very poorly produced considering the massive pricetag.
