UPDATE SEPTEMBER, 2016: Used to be a great app. UPS/FedEx shipping options have disappeared for the last few weeks which has been a huge pain for us, as that was 90% of our shipments. Repeated promises to fix it but nothing has happened yet...

Has been an incredible app for us thus far. We have saved a huge amount on shipping (we are located in Alberta, Canada, and the UPS rates and ship times are just amazing). Had one issue with a label not showing up after it was paid for, but called in and they resent it to me immediately. Highly recommended. The only thing I wish they had was an integration into Shopify like Shippo has, where you can click on the order, then click on "Bulk Actions" and select "Get Label on NetParcel" with an automatically populated label. The system they have works, but it would just make it even slicker to use. Get this app, you won't regret it!

Started using this app a few days ago with the Canada Post strike on and off shipping has been challenging.
These are the best shipping rates across Canada that we have found so far and are delighted with that. Also, having the orders populate from Shopify is a great time saver and helps eliminate data transfer errors.
I wish the invoicing would calculate a total for the day or week and put a group charge through, versus each individual one - it does make accounting harder.
Give it a go, you will be glad you did.

SECOND UPDATE - we had been using this plug in for months with spotty success. We weren't paying for this app, it is free with the expectation that you use them for your shipping provider. After our last round of issues, everything was working ok and we were in talks to move all of our online shipping for the US and Canada to netParcel. Over the Labor Day holiday weekend, the plug in stopped working and we were not notified by netParcel at all. Big weekend for our sales and we couldn't fill a single order. Once again, their customer/technical support person, Suhayl, was rude and unhelpful not only to me but also to our Director of Outdoor. We have been trying to get set up with them to do ALL of our shipping in the US and Canada for our online orders but the level of customer service and treatment of us as potential business partner has led us to delete the app and move our business elsewhere.

UPDATE to my first review of this app - they have gone above and beyond to fix our technical issues with our store and their app. We hope to be able to fix the last issue we are having (displaying transit estimates but they don't have control of that, it's the API) so that we can keep them as our shipping app.

We have had nothing but issues with their plug in not showing rates for our customers. First they told us it was a server problem on their end, that it would be fixed the next day. That they would send us a report of all the people that didn't receive rates. And we heard nothing and we're still having this problem. Now it's Shopify's fault and nothing they can do. Their customer service and technical support has completely blown us off after countless phone calls and unanswered emails to their support address. This has cost us numerous sales in the short time that we've had our site integrated with their service and I would NOT recommend using them for your store.

So far so good. Most of the shipments I will get a confirmation email except one; I called and they said the driver is on the way. The shipping fee is competitive; looking forward to getting more discounts on shipping.

Netparcel has been great for us since we opened. Most of the time we do use Canada Post but there are times when there is a larger box size or an international order that is better suited for a service like FedEx, UPS, DHL, Purolator and more. That's where Netparcel comes in. You enter your info, they come back with an instant quote of all of the different services that are heavily discounted for you to pick and choose. Print the label and that's it! I've used it many times and I couldn't be happier!

I just used netParcel for the first time and it worked perfectly. I was a little bit worried about the additional feature of pickup at our store but that worked out too... I definitely will use netParcel for our future shipments.

I am so happy I found this app! I originally, sent my orders with Canada Post but began using netParcel as Canada Post was threatening to strike. The netParcel app easily integrated with my shop, and sending my orders have become a breeze. You simply enter your invoice # on the netParcel site click on the 'import' button, your order is upload. Then you get to choose from a variety of courier and their rates. In many cases, I'm able to send my orders for less, and my customers receive their orders much faster (than with Canada Post).

Very simple to use interface, great integration with Shopify. It's also a great quotation engine for any of my other shipping needs, from parcels to LTL and more.
