Okendo has been crucial in helping to grow our brand's reputation and better understand our customers. Working with the team through set up and implementation was extremely helpful and the user interface is easy to edit based on our changing needs. Okendo offers such a great array of features, and their quick customer support is also a huge plus! Highly recommend for any business big or small.
Henry Thompson is THE BEST. We had a bit of a rough launch on our Referrals program with users finding a quick way to abuse the system, being told certain things could/couldn't work, and general confusion. We let Okendo know we needed more detailed help, and they sent Henry. We don't even feel like we need to ask questions, as Henry is always several steps ahead of where we are thinking and provides advice that makes PERFECT sense. The kind of advice an old friend would give you, that changes your world view. But, you know... With Okendo instead. Henry reviews our Referrals program daily presently, after making improvements to it, just in case something weird happens again.
TL;DR: Henry is amazing, he's got us excited to work on and improve even already well performing aspects of our Okendo products!
We have been using Okendo to consolidate reviews on our site for a while now but it had fallen on the backburner. Henry T. reached out as our new CSM and brought it back to the forefront. He came with several optimizations we will easily be able to integrate to improve our consumer's UX on-site and via email. Looking forward to seeing how we can further utilize the platform!

We've been really pleased with our experience with Okendo, how it integrates into our Shopify store, and the features they offer. We've had no issues at all with how the reviews present in our theme, and the Support team has been extremely fast to respond if we want tweaks made.
Okendo overall is great too, we love the review summaries, the Q&A feature, and how they are able to support syndication to other parties like Bazaarvoice and TikTok. Our account rep Steven is fantastic and always quick to respond to any questions we have.
Huge shoutout to the Okendo team—especially Amanda! She checked in out of the blue and helped me level up our review game in a way that was super easy and actually fun. It's rare to get that kind of hands-on support these days. Just really appreciate how on it and helpful their whole team is.
Okendo is easy to use and has a lot of flexibility when it comes to customization and configuration of the UI. I appreciate that Okendo consistently adds features to the platform in order to continue to add value for merchants which in turn adds value for our customers.
We've used the Okendo Reviews since 2019. This review applies to their Reviews functionality as we have not used Loyalty or Referrals.
Okendo Reviews, when it first came out, was a genuinely exciting and innovative app. It had more features than many of its competitors and much better pricing than the market leader. Up until a couple of years ago, I would have comfortably given Okendo 5 stars.
This is no longer the case. They are increasingly focused on Loyalty and Referrals, and their Reviews side of the application has become somewhat outdated. It has received very few updates for a few years now, resulting in it becoming less full-featured than many of its competitors despite retaining the premium price point in the market.
Specifically:
- Its Review grouping feature is clunky, slow and poorly designed. It can't be automated by tag or metafield like other rival apps, and the syncing process can take over 24 hours, which is insane in 2025. For large stores with a lot of variants, this can become a major headache over time.
- The internal search in the admin portal does not work. It only returns results alphabetically rather than by relevance. This means in a store with a lot of reviews, finding, moving, and tagging reviews is a painfully slow process. The fact that this has been left like this and never been updated/fixed is illustrative of their lack of attention to the Reviews side of their business.
- Store reviews are very much treated as an afterthought and not particularly well executed compared to competing apps. They are clunky to manage within the portal, and Okendo's widgets do not display them particularly well.
- AI Review summary. They have been late to market on this and have made it an additional paid feature, whereas most of their competitors have included it in the main offering. Considering the lack of updates in the last few years it's a pretty bad look for the first one to be late and a paid extra.
I get no pleasure in writing this review, but I think it's important for other store owners to understand that Okendo reviews is not the go-to premium review app anymore and that things have moved on since a few years ago. If I were starting a new store, I certainly wouldn't have them at the top of the list of considerations. It works, but it's hardly the best, and it's starting to look tired and expensive for what it is.
