Easy to use but hasn't benefited much from it.

I can give only 2 stars... As soon as I purchased this app, I created my first automation with a welcome email. The welcome email was created from an Omnised template, and the email doesn´t work for mobile version. The customer service promised a solution in 24-48 hours. If I am paying for this app I expect it to work... I would have expect from the Customer service an immediate solution, does any campaign template from Omnisend work for mobile version?? Then I would try with a different template to avoid having my automation stopped till the Customer service comes back to me.

On the other hand, there is no way to customize the confirmation email for double opt-in, which is really a problem for any European customer requiring GDPR. This email looks really spammy, with an orange button as "confirm your email". I can imagine many potential subscribers will not trust this spammy button, and I will loose subscribers. Mailchimp does here better, you can completely customize this email and fit it to your brand. I already sent my feedback to Omnisend, asking for at least, if it not possible to customize the color, make the color less spammy, like black.

I have to give only 2 starts because I find this really a basic thing any good email marketing app should offer. Hope an update comes very soon and I can give you guys more starts!

I FREAKING LOVE THIS APP! I DON'T EVEN LEAVE REVIEWS OFTEN. THIS IS A GENIUS AND VERY POWERFUL MARKETING! THOSE WHO DO NOT TAKE ADVANTAGE ARE MISSING OUT ON A LOT OF $$$.Im terrible with email marketing, but with this tool its versatile and easy to use even for a novice such as myself. For every shopify store I ever have I will continue to download this application. THANK YOU!

I was getting frustrated with my other campaign platform and its lack of integration with Shopify, so I decided to research a couple of others to find a better fit. In doing so, I came across Omnisend and of the three I checked out - so far so good! I love the neat little scratch-off features and the gift box, and find it's a useful tool in my email marketing! I do wish there were more CSS gifs available and more "movement" options in the templates outside of having a load of coding knowledge. For a small business that wants a big imprint - its just not always ideal to spend gobs of time on email campaigns.

Overall - for just starting out with Omnisend - I can't complain. The cost isn't absurd and the features are abundant! I love the user interface, the seamless Mailchimp integration, and the overall ease of use. The campaign templates aren't that bad either! The worst part is coming up with content! LOL!! Give them a try - I doubt you'll be displeased! :)

WARNING -- STAY WITH CHIMPMAIL.

Here is my experience. I created a campaign and installed a mailing list.
Notice: "Your account is blocked because your list is dirty".
Result: Missed campaign launch date.

Next-- I paid $50 to clean 5000 email addresses and run a campaign again.
Result: Lowest open rate of any campaign, and highest SPAM response of any campaign I have used.
Notice: "Your account is suspended due to 3% spam rate".

I have successfully used Chimpmail without the same level of problems. Out of 2,000 emails only 200 were opened, and 5 were labeled as spam.

Those 5 resulted in my account being suspended.

I WILL NOT USE OMNISEND AGAIN -- NOR CAN I RECOMMEND THEIR PRODUCT.

My suggestion -- run a parallel campaign with Chimpmail or another service to compare results -- both of open rate, bounce rate, and spam rate. Then see whether Chimpmail SUSPENDS your account for 5 labeled spam out of 2,000.

I am flabbergasted.

I do not recommend they will try to charger extra after not even sending one email to subscribers. Not worth it. UPDATE: I did clean my email list. I had to pay for that service as well. After that y'all want to charge extra for new emails.

Sorry to hear you had trouble with your first campaign.
There were some old email contacts on your list that no longer exist, so we had to pause the sending to protect your sender reputation. Approx. 30% of emails go bad in just one year, so regular list cleaning is a must to maintain a good sender reputation. The best approach is to check the contact list with Mailgun, Neverbounce, or any other similar service and unsubscribe those old contacts.
As soon as you review your contact list, we will resume the promotional email sending for you. Alex will help you out with this process; he is already reaching out!
