With Planet, every time you ship an order, you will support some of the most promising climate solutions on Earth. Each project has been vetted by the Shopify Sustainability Fund, which has committed more than $30 million to these same projects.

How it works

Every month, Planet calculates the total shipping emissions generated by your orders and charges you based on the price of the Planet subscription plan you’ve selected. Plans are estimated to cost between 3.5 and 15 cents (USD) per order, but actual cost will vary based on shipping distance, package weight, and mode of transportation, all of which affect a delivery's emissions. All of this money goes toward carbon removal and ensures that your shipping is carbon neutral. Charges will appear on your monthly bill, and you can opt out or change your subscription plan at any time.

Implementation of the Badget is complicated and not well explained. Showing it on the product page is as I know hardly possible. The Shopify support just answered that I have to hire an Expert just to show the badget on the relevant parts of my Shop. I am disappointed...

I added this app to another of my Shopify stores and the app looks out of place on my store and it isn't editable. I am more than willing to change my review is I was able to edit the appearance on my store but currently it is not an attractive addition and is showing unneeded text.

I like that we can offset all our shipping but I don't like the uneditable block that is added to our website. It is ugly, doesn't suit our corporate colours and has the text "Powered by Shopify Planet" taking up precious real estate on my web page.
