SC Conjured Referral Program

It is a great app for rewards, and the support team is extremely helpful1

Beware of fraud! We printed 10,000 postcards (to be added to parcels during fulfilment) with a QR code that links to this App. Now, a few months after installing, they change their pricing and want to charge up to 20% (!!!!) commission on referrals. Their only new plan with no commissions costs 150 USD per month (after an arbitrary 50% discount is applied). This is so unheard of, it should cause Shopify to ban the app. If they were to offer any reasonable pricing tiers, I wouldn't complain - they have to make money somehow, maybe 1-3%. We're talking about hard earned, organic word-of-mouth referrals here. But this pricing system is a scam and downright fraudulent.

Really clunky UI, editing designs for the widgets are very restrictive without using CSS.

Couldn't preview email notifications without changing the store email, which might be suitable for very small brands but quite a large inconvenience for us.

Poor service. Non functional application. Refer via email will only end in spam and does not work via authenticated domain.

We installed the app 2 weeks ago on the $79 growth plan for a campaign due on 31st

First campaign email test went to spam in every major client we used. So we authenticated the domain with our own domain and followed all instructions (changing from email in each template). Emails still would only come via their email and stayed in spam.

We tested multiple times in case it was propogation or some form of delayed setup on their end.

Support was contacted on 25th, and multiple times on 28th, they had collaborator access and was promised an UPDATE at Eod. This didn't happen and so we've contacted multiple times since and It was only on the 29th when they've told me that their developers have found that theres a "general technical issue" and they have zero idea when it will be fixed.

The reviews do not reflect in any way our experience or what we've seen when we've spoken to their support.

I had to update some of my marketing campaigns to integrate with a Shopify change, and Shop Circle made it so easy.

I scheduled a call and Paul walked me through exactly what I needed to do to update my campaigns and gave me helpful info on how to get more out of my referral program. Also, shop circle support had a really good working knowledge of the other integration points, including Shopify and Klaviyo.

I wish other apps would have as good as support as shop circle.

I've been through countless different referrals platforms and always come back to Conjured. For the price you pay, you can build a powerful and user-centric referral programme that does exactly what you want it to (albeit after some setup time, but the team are very helpful and quick to get you set up). Now that you're able to send emails from with Klaviyo its a real game changer - we're able to integrate it with our existing marketing stack, use automations, and AB test to optimise our campaigns.

I would recommend Conjured Referrals to anyone looking to increase their customer base and sales. I had been using a different app that bundled referrals, reviews, rewards, etc. all together for months now but unfortunately the customer usability of that app's referral page is so poor, offered no customization, and was hidden within widgets with no way to directly share it with customers. Conjured Referrals literally fixed all these issues and let's me have complete control over the type of referral bonus I want displayed. It also allows for customization options so it truly integrates with my branding and allows the referral forms to be displayed wherever I need them to be on the site. Support is also by far one of the most responsive and friendliest teams I have communicated with. Mehmed connected with me in a matter of minutes after submitting my request and went above and beyond with helping me with my question. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with the capabilities and support I received.

We had a great experience until we tried to stop using the app. At that point, there is no option except to uninstall the app, at which point all of your existing codes become obsolete and unusable, and you alienate all of your best customers that are actively out there referring your brand, or waiting to use the discount code they received in prior months.

We tried to work through this quagmire with Axel on the support team and he was rude and unhelpful. He told us repeatedly just to delete the app, which is clearly the worst option for any brand using this platform.

We used Conjured for Referrals from 2019-2026, but I wish we'd opted for a different app after this experience. Sometimes you make decisions without thinking about what happens when this app runs its course.

I implore you to think of that before you sign up for Conjured. You will regret it later. Find a different app, and ask them what the app winddown/deletion process is like.

We recently did a migration to a new shopify shop. The team was a great support and helped us move all our data seemlesly.

Very helpful support. Replied within a couple minutes on a sunday
