Another developer posting lies and false information to get people to install their app.
How this started, I emailed them inquiring about how they help stores with making sales, as in the app description they mention they brought a suppliment company from $0 in sales to $10,000 in sales, in one month.

THIS IS A LIE!
They explained that for their app to work, your store needs to be making sales every day, then Referral Candy works off those customers.
Now this seemed weird considering they claim to have taken a store from $0 in sales to $10,000 just after installing their app.
A BLANTENT LIE!!
They even confirmed this with me by ceasing communication when asked about it how they did it if the store had no sales.
AVOID THIS COMPANY!

I am terribly sorry for this misunderstanding. I assure you there is no intention to be misleading or untruthful about how strongly we believe our product can help retailers be successful.
The line you quoted in the app description was from a case study we did a while back. In it, the client said that "For virtually no labor, I get so many sales – at least $10k this month.” I do see how it can be read differently.

We signed up for Referral Candy since we were looking to start rewarding our loyal customers for constantly making referrals for us, and also to have a mechanism in place that would allow new customers to avail of "earned" incentives. Onboarding was a breeze. Derek walked us through the process and explained all strategic options and things to consider. That was really helpful and we were up to speed in no time. 5/5 so far!
The app was easy to set up and we were up and running in no time. We were impressed at how quickly word-of-mouth spread as soon as we started with the service, bringing us thousands in new sales so far. Would definitely recommend this.

This app is quick to use. I think it has a lot of potential if there's a dedicated resource in your company to monitor the progress/performance of this app.
ReferralCandy is easy to use and super sleek. We love the clean design and feel of the app itself but also the emails being send out to our costumers.
We aren't missing any features. The app does what it is supposed to do.
We have been using the app for over a month now and are still confident about it but need more time to figure out what incentives really work for our costumers.
A minimum of $15 is a bit hefty when compared to the overall price of Shopify itself and also if you need more than one month to figure out the proper incentives. A different price for companies based outside the US would also be appreciated.
Would we recommend the app? Even though we are still waiting for the big hike in sales to happen its the best referral app we have tried out so far and are confident we can make it work.
This is a great app for anyone wanting a "Tell a friend about us and get (x) discount" offer for their store. Simply create your offer with Shopify discount engine, then let Referral Candy do the rest. It's really that easy! I had our referral program up and running in just a few minutes.
