They promise "hands on migration service" but in reality they just tell you to figure it out by yourself.
- I was asked to contact Shopify support to figure out importing of customers. Instead of "hands on" guidance from the support
- I had to figure out exporting data from previous payment processors as Appstle documentation was out of date
- I was also asked to contact WooCommerce Subscriptions support to figure out how to export subscriptions data from our old platform. Instead of "hands on" guidance from the support.

We're sorry to hear that your experience didn't meet expectations. I'd like to clarify that our migration specifically involves migrating the data that you provide to us to Appstle. This includes cleaning the data, fixing missing fields, and running tests, before the final switch to Appstle. However, migration does not include data extraction or export from your previous software platforms, since we do not have the authorization for it. Only you or your store representatives can do that, legally.
The success of the migration process completely depends on us getting the data exported (even if they are not perfect) from your previous software. Without it, our hands are tied.
When you run into issues with your previous software provider such as WooCommerce, their support teams are the best to help sort it out, since our migration specialists are not experts in WooCommerce or other third-party platforms. If you're unsure how to obtain the subscription data from your previous/current platform before migrating, we strongly recommend reaching out to their support team for guidance.
We have migrated many merchants in the past from WooCommerce, and they were able to export their data from the WooCommerce subscription tool. If you have any more questions about the data we need from WooCommerce. pls reach out to support@appstle.com.
