We've had a great experience using this subscription app on our Shopify store. The setup was straightforward, and it provides all the functionality we need to manage recurring orders and subscriptions seamlessly. The customer experience is smooth, and the app integrates well with our store operations.

Great app. Enables customers to be able to set and forget but also has alot of functionality for the customer to be able to edit subscription, add one-time products to order and edit schedule when needed.
The team are super helpful and the response time is great. Real time messenger service allows you to chat with the team to help resolve issues. Adam went above and beyond to help me iron out some functionality and visual things.
Highly recommend.

When we started looking at subscription apps, we were recommend Recharge but the charges are absolutely crazy with them. I opted for Appstle because the charges were more appropriate.

It's been easy to set up the subscription plans, but I did find that the email summaries I was being sent weren't that useful, they always seemed to say 0 for all metrics even though I knew I had active subscriptions, but I can simply go into the app and check all the details that I want to.

Regardless, I like the app and think it does a great job, and has facilitated subscriptions for us for years now. I plan to roll out subscriptions across all SKUs, and debated switching to Shopify's native app but having taken a look at it in my testing store, I'm not particularly impressed and will definitely be sticking with Appstle

Especially after my recent experience with support. The main thing that you want from support is the right combination of speed and comprehensiveness of the response, and it has been 10/10 on both fronts

This app is an absolute game-changer! It perfectly nails the "set-and-forget" convenience for customers, while still giving them total, seamless control to edit subscriptions, snap on-time products into their orders, and reschedule deliveries in a flash. The functionality is flawless!

But what truly blows me away is their customer support. The team is incredibly helpful, and their response time is lightning-fast! Having a real-time messenger to chat and resolve issues instantly is a lifesaver. A massive, heartfelt shoutout to Adam, who went completely above and beyond to help me iron out every single detail. I cannot recommend this app highly enough. Five stars all the way!

We’ve used Appstle for nearly 5 years and, overall, the platform has worked well for our subscription business. However, over time we’ve become increasingly frustrated by features that were previously available on our account being moved behind higher-tier plans without any proactive communication.

Most recently, a feature we had actively used operationally for years was suddenly disabled and reclassified as “Business Plan only,” despite there never being any indication that it had originally been a temporary or complimentary feature. Even internally, support responses appeared inconsistent regarding the entitlement itself.

The issue is not simply about paying more. SaaS platforms evolve, and pricing structures change. The frustration comes from long-standing workflows suddenly breaking after years of use, creating operational issues and customer friction for merchants who built parts of their subscription experience around these features.

To Appstle’s credit, the team eventually resolved the issue after escalation and re-enabled the functionality on our account. We appreciate that outcome. However, I strongly believe the company needs to improve transparency around feature migrations, legacy account handling, and communication with long-term customers.

Merchants who supported the platform in its earlier stages should not feel like established functionality can disappear overnight unless they upgrade to increasingly expensive tiers.

Hi, This is Ria, the co-founder of Appstle. Thank you for being a long term customer of Appstle. When we price gate previously available features, our standing policy is to grandfather long-term merchants, and that policy is built directly into our app. When a new plan-gated feature is added, accounts that pre-date it are automatically treated as already having access. That's why you've continued to enjoy a number of capabilities on your free current plan, which for newly installing merchants, sit on our Business or higher tiers (extended limits, several Customer Portal options, automation features, etc).

The "Let customers add one-time purchases to their subscription orders" toggle is the one case where this didn't behave the way it should have on your account, since a backend check was overriding the grandfather rule.

As you mentioned, we have now applied a fix to that issue. Feel free to reach out to us anytime at support@appstle.com if you have any other questions.

We've been using this app for our subscription business and it's been a game changer. As a small business, we needed something that could handle a fairly complex subscription setup without being difficult to manage, and this app does exactly that.

The Build Your Own Box feature has been especially important for our business and has given us the flexibility we needed to offer the experience we wanted for our customers.

The amazing support team has been incredible helpful. The chat support is incredibly fast, and every time we've needed help they've gone above and beyond to find a solution. It's rare to find a team that's this responsive and genuinely invested in helping their customers succeed.

We're very grateful we found this app and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a powerful subscription solution that's still easy to use.

Appstle has been a great subscription app for our MdrnLifeDDW.com program. It makes it easy for our customers to subscribe, manage recurring orders, and receive their Mdrn-Life DDW on schedule. The app is simple to use, reliable, and has helped us build a smoother subscription experience for our premium water customers. Highly recommended.

I have used Appstle app on my stores and it has been solid every time. The app handles complex subscription setups without breaking and the support team is the real standout. They respond fast and actually fix things instead of sending canned replies. Their dev team even helped us with custom tweaks that most app teams would refuse. Highly recommend.
