App went offline for some hours. Upselling bonus stopped working during this period - the effect on sales you can imagine. An effect on customer trust as well as the announcement of the bonus still was displayed. The app seems to have problems in its general set up.
Update:
Technical reaction of app provider immediate. Acc. to them issue was most likely caused by temporary connectivity delays between their server and our location, which could result in the app taking longer to load or briefly appearing unavailable. They said to now have optimized their infrastructure and routing to improve stability and loading speed, so this situation should not happen again.
Reaction:
From 1 to 3 stars due to immediate reaction. If app and discounts now work properly upgrade back to 5 stars will follow.

We completely understand how an outage, especially one affecting a core feature like the upselling bonus, can impact both sales and customer trust.
