Speed is something we're constantly balancing against Shopify's API rate limits, since pushing too hard can trigger throttling which slows jobs down further - but if you share the specific job IDs that felt slow, there may well be optimizations we can suggest in your import or export files. For the app pricing, based on your import volumes you might be able to downgrade to a lower tier plan for the app, if other higher plan features and limits are not needed.
