The people at Chief Software are VERY nice people and are quite responsive. But after MONTHS of trying and paying a lot of money for customizations (which took months longer than the original estimate of a few weeks BTW), the app just DOES NOT WORK. Many of the basic functions are broken and the coding is just plain sloppy. After using many different Shopify apps over the years, I have never encountered one this bad and am extremely disappointed that I wasted my time and money. I'm not sure how they have any positive reviews except for their kindness and their accessibility to schedule a call. I do wish the team well, but really need to let others know how bad this app is.
I am extremely sad to hear that you had a bad experience. We had created the sign up page with multiple custom fields that you needed and a directory page where customers can select their own style concierge. When we tested things it was working as expected. In fact you were also able to sign up as a style concierge and sign up a test customer to a rep from the directory page. Also when you launched, reps were able to sign up and their sales were tracked back to them. Our features are working well for our other clients and we see most of our clients grow their sales team and total sales using our app.
We always fix all issues that are reported by our clients, right away. In the last 6 -8 weeks we didn't hear any complains from you. Please let me know, what didn't work well and I'll make sure our development team fixes it and make it right for you. We are committed to our clients and I want to make this right for you. please let us know what didn't work well and we will get it fixed asap.
Regarding the time to finish the project, as new requirements get added, the time lines do increase. I wish I could have gotten all requirements in one go, so we wouldn't have had to do multiple iterations.
We are still in the process of customizing the app to our needs but Vik has been nothing short of incredible and accommodating! Our sales process is a little more complicated than most but Vik and his team had no problem understanding and asking great follow up questions. The app has a lot of features and because his team is so willing to make adjustments/customizations for your needs, you will never have to look elsewhere for a better solution! I did research on the other apps that perform a similar function on Shopify and this was by far the obvious choice!
This is an amazing app for my wholesale business! It does everything I want it to do and then some. The staff is also amazing, they always have the answers to my questions.

We have decided to edit our review since we finally figured out how to change the prices individually. So far eveything we set up seems perfect. We have some cons that we would like to address. 1. Everytime something is updated, the system navigartion goes back to the first section which is very anooying. Please fix system to where it stays in the same section. 2. If your company in the live chat states its responds immediately, then please respond. IF a bot responds, then state its a bot. We were waiting hours for a response and no one catered to us. The two individauls we saw online were not really online it seems. 3. I would recommend in the price section for changing the prices, there should be a text that states change your price here. It took us for ever to realize we could change the price in the price boxes. It was by mistake we figured that out 4. There should be daily, weekly and monthly reports not soely monthly. What if we have a weekly pay period? 5. There needs to be a feature where we can get daily, weekly, or monthly email reports. Having to log into shopify, then access the app and look at the data is not convenient. it should be streamlined. Automatic emails to the admin should be a feature for the commissions. In the event one cant access shopify or if we want to just forward the data to our bookeeper who manages the payroll. 6. Not sure why but the app seems to stall alot stating that shopify has issues accessing the app. sometimes we have to log out and log back in or just wait for problem to resolve.
Quite possibly the worst app we've ever used. Here are the list of reasons:
Basic Plan - No view of all features that require upgrade
No sound user experience AT ALL
No visual hierarchy, proper grouping, primary vs secondary vs tertiary buttons, lacks contrast or signifiers for understanding the UI
Extremely lacks explanations of null states for all kinds of features or pages
No distinction between working with sales reps vs affiliates
What the heck are sales team templates?
Feature toggle switches are unreadable
Can't use our own Shopify tags for assigning existing customers to reps
Reports are small and don't make sense in null state
Email us page should have a contact form. Doesn't even have a "mailto" deeplink to open email client
Calendly page title shows "CSS advanced support" as if any beginner would understand that
FAQ accordions just look like plain text and have no UX signifiers like dropdown arrows
YouTube instructional videos have no proper grouping headings such as "Getting Started."
Accept/Deny Sales Rep page makes absolutely no sense. Is this for affiliates?
So many more bad UX issues to list!
Just the worst app, period. Unusable, in and out. NOTE TO THE DEVELOPER: I'll be glad to consider using your app when these issues are fixed. Make it USABLE!
we will work on the admin side usability , so that our features are easy to understand, setup and use regularly. We have a lot of powerful features and we will make these super easy to set up, take care of null states etc. We will work on the admin side usability for all features and make sure we earn a 5 star review from you.- Vik
Great app! Our sales guys love it. Does exactly what they've been asking for. Chief software solution guys were very easy to work with when we ran into a couple of minor things. Thanks guys!
I wasted about half an hour on this. the support section has a couple of 30 second videos and "coming soon" from what I guess is a couple years ago. seems under developed and abandoned. maybe the features work, but I'm not going to email the developers to get basic setup instructions

Our app is not abandoned or under developed. In fact we are constantly improving and adding new feature.
I do admit, that we do not have enough support videos. This is something which we will be adding in the next few weeks.
We were slammed with new feature requests and customization requests, Hence we have not been able to create video content for our support and faq section.
We should have 30 sec 'how to videos' for each feature that we offer, in next few weeks.
