Great good app but i only give 3 stars because the app don't have a preview player for the tracks. Thats very important.

In theory, it would be great, but I have not yet had it work. Orders are not syncing, and the link to downloads has not been sent.

Great App and great staff helped me out a lot hopefully they will add customer accounts so when a customer comes on to your website they can sign up and have their own customer page/dashboard with a friends list, their purchased history, playlist, and such I highly do recommend this app for your store!
We chose Single Music for easy integration with Soundscan reporting. The setup took less than a minute, I had friendly support on chat on a Saturday morning, and I didnt' even need the help - I literally just imported by products, set up preorder dates and was good to go. Shockingly easy and intuitive. Great UI/product dashboard as well. Highly recommended.
This app allows us to sell chart registered album downloads. Works smoothly and looks great on store plus allows customers to choose their preferred file type.

I have worked on three projects with Singles so far, and I am extremely satisfied with their customer service. Despite the numerous inquiries and requests I’ve made, their responses have always been quick and accurate. I really appreciate how reliable and attentive they are!
Single had all the resources I needed to launch my online video streaming platform and when I had issues with my theme's compatibility, they were always able to get back to me right away and fix the issue quickly. Even hopping on video calls to help me. All while I was still on the free tier!
No customer service, no response! The products did not even reach the fans who bought through this application, I don't recommend it! If you don't want to look bad in front of your fans, it's better not to install this app!

Super powerful app, does most of what others can't. Customer service is amazing but their app falls short with videos and video collections. No videos will appear on IOS devices (Iphone, Apple, Macbook) if you have a newer theme (I use "BE YOURS"). This is a DEAL BREAKER if you are in US most consumers have an iphone or use apple products. You will need to hire outside help or use a free theme to make its functions work. Hopefully in the future they will provide support for paid themes.

Single’s video tools are compatible with iOS devices. We have several stores using our video products with full iOS functionality. When we looked into your situation, our team determined the issue was a conflict within your specific theme. This occasionally happens so we reached out to your theme's development team to try and partner with them to resolve, but unfortunately they declined.

Single is an incredible way to deliver digital downloads D2C and automate our physical chart reporting. The DDEX bulk upload is a dream for a label group like ours with a deep catalog and the Single Music team has gone above and beyond to assist us in getting up and running. Couldn't recommend enough!
As others have stated, the customer service and support team are fantastic! The app has many different futures already and are working on bringing more and more features to make this app more useful for musicians, producers, artists, managers, and everything in between! HIGHLY RECCOMMEND!
This has been a really useful tool and when I had an issue on my end they provided excellent customer service to help me resolve the issue!
At first, I gave a 1-star review. But I'm changing it to 5-stars because of the way this company handled the situation. Long story short, I had a fair number of people download a digital download of mine from Single Music. They had used a shopify coupon code I created to get it for free. It was just a trade for an email. Well I ended up having to pay $2 to Single Music on each of those "free" downloads. I was charged $130 roughly, but the very same day, Single reached out, apologized for I guess what you can call a loophole, and refunded me fully. This is a great app. I've used it to create upsell campaigns easily. I do hope they are able to modify their backend to allow for creators to give away some digital downloads for free in exchange for an email.

As an independent musician doing everything myself, Single Music was exactly what I was looking for! Here's why... 1) I wanted to pre-sell my album before I got the music finished. 2) I wanted to sell the album through my own site without sharing the name of the album. 3) I wanted all sales to be reported to SoundScan. Thanks to Single Music, I'm happy to say that my debut album, Dead Pixel, hit three Billboard charts the week after it was released! I got to #39 on the Top Current Album Sales chart, #85 on the Top Album Sales chart, and #32 on the Emerging Artists chart. Single Music was so easy to use and the customer support couldn't have been better. Since I knew I had a shot of hitting the charts, I wanted to make sure I set everything up correctly and thankfully, Joe was there to check things and confirm everything looked good (thanks again, Joe!). Couldn't recommend Single Music enough!
App installs two products, one "track" and one "album". What they fail to mention is that in order to have a play button for a 30sec preview next to your product, you MUST have a visible COLLECTION for each album. SO unless your only wanting music collections, its a mess.
Hi Star! Apologies for the confusion, but you do not need to have collections be visible in order for the tracklist / preview to function properly. You are correct that we publish 2 products for a single (something we hope to address soon), but that is simply due to how products work in Shopify and making an album tracklist purchasable. We'll let you know when that has been addressed!

I was happy to find Single because I needed a way to report physical and digital sales from my website (an in person) to SoundScan. Getting things set up was a tricky learning curve for me but Single customer service was there every time I reached out. Kudos to them for helping us indie artists with such respect and professionalism.
The support team is pretty awesome! They're offline at night but during the day, they are incredibly responsive and helped me solve my problem.

I'm using this app to sell digital music, the support team has been awesome. Would highly recommend it to other artists it's a simple app. to use and if help is needed they are always available with quick responses.
Looks great but the minute you have a problem the 'Single music' team seem unable to find a solution when it doesn't send to shopify. Spent almost a week with them backs and forwards via emails. I could have been doing something else on my biz. Not very impressed.
Just received a response to this message via the reviews. I would suggest checking your emails. Doa search on Baguette Bear, you should then see the numerous emails from your company and me this week. Pretty surprised you didn't check that actually before posting a response! My concerns are clearly, very real.

Where have you been trying to reach us? We don't have record of you contacting our support channels prior to today. As you can see in our other reviews, we focus heavily on artist support and it's very uncharacteristic of us to not respond or find a quick solution. We'll get you sorted today via chat in the app.
Update: We did search our chat system and only your message from today is showing - which we responded to and have not heard back. As stated before, please reach out via the chat so we can determine where the disconnect is.
Great app, but when you bundle digital albums with physical, it charges you for all tracks which eats into your physical merch cost basis. For that reason, had to uninstall.
Thanks for your feedback! We are very transparent about our digital pricing and in many ways we are much less expensive than platforms which take a percentage (10-15%) of your physical merchandise. Not only is our pricing capped at $2 for digital, but physical reporting is a flat monthly subscription ($10). If you are including a digital album with a physical product we encourage artists to factor our costs into the price paid by fans.
Working with Single Music was a dream come true. Every step along the way, Tommy and his staff were beyond accommodating and helpful. The process of distributing music to clients and reporting to Nielsen and Soundscan is a daunting task and Single was able to do it seamlessly and for an extremely fair rate. They will be integrated from day 1 on all of our ongoing campaigns.

Great start for a desperately needed app that makes it easy to sell downloads on Shopify. Really like that there's no monthly subscription charge but rather a small percentage off each sale. Much fairer. GUI is slick and well implemented with a few bugs still to iron out. Amazing real-time support too.
Main thing missing for me is the fact that the track list has no player facility. How are buyers supposed to decide what to buy if they can't listen to anything? There should be a choice of whether to play 30 seconds iTunes-style or whole track like Bandcamp. Hopefully this will be added soon. Also, better integration with Spotify physical product pages for CDs and Limited Editions etc would be nice.

FINALLY! A Shopify app that replicates all the other digital DSPs. Now I can do pre-orders with Instant Grat tracks and sell singles from the album page. This app is great!
