Sky Pilot ‑ Digital Downloads

I absolutely love Sky Pilot for my digital file delivery to my customers. The improvements that Sky Pilot has made since I started using it have made my tasks of uploading files so much easier. My customers also love how they can now search their digital library. Thank you Sky Pilot for listening to our requests!!

Powerful, and easy to use Shopify App for digital contents.
It's secured, and pumping out feature updates quick.
Also with highest tier, it has ability to self host your file in your own AWS S3 Bucket, and CloudFront CDN.
Switching to self host is instant, and support is very responsive.

I decided to use this app to sell my first online digital course.
What I love about this app is:
1. Their customer service is really quick to response and very helpful
2. The reason why I picked this app was because it looked very simple and clean and is customisable with coding - although I did not need much of customisation as it is very clean and easy for the customer to use.
3. I wanted people to be able to choose if they would like to create an account and this app allows that people can choose so it won't affect the sales - and for the people who don't create an account they can always access their course through the email that was sent to them.
4. Easy to view the videos of the course on my website (which is a big plus because other apps the course was on their website not mine)

The only thing I did not like was nothing about the app but the video company they integrate with: Vimeo - I am not a big fan of Vimeo and find it a bit expensive. So I would have rather used another platform for my videos.

So for that said I highly recommend this app if you are looking into selling your own digital course online. And it is my first time writing a review that means I am super happy!

If you're selling digital products, then get this amazing app! I'm using it for several years now - it just runs, never had any problems. Simple to use and configure. Support is very friendly, helpful and effective. Certainly one of the best apps in the store.

I'm selling videos that are stored in Vimeo in a Shopify platform. Sky Pilot has been integrated very easily into my platform (with the help of my designer because I didn't understand exactly where to put the code - learner over here!). The products are getting to customers seamlessly in a very clean and professional output. Andrew has been super prompt with my multiple questions over the past month. My customers were not seeing that there was a download to accompany the video so Andrew just tweaked my account to where my pdf comes out as a button above my video! SUPER CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Highly recommend!

Great customer support first of all. Very easy to set up and runs wonderfully. We do 90% of our sales via digital and we have not experienced any issues and have positive feedback from our customers. This allows customers to have their own library and the ability to search their library as well. Very handy for sure!

I would highly recommend this app! Customer service is very responsive to questions even prior to install. Incredibly easy integration that you likely will not need support help even with limited technical experience. Provides file downloads based on storage limits in the app. Provides sellable streaming across multiple product variants in a snap. Literally took less than an hour to read all setup documentation and have first videos working like a charm! Your grandmother could install this app!! (sorry tech savvy grams!)

I create and sell digital machine embroidery designs and cut files, so I need a good download app. I switched to Sky Pilot, on the recommendation of a friend who also uses SP on her site, after my website 'exploded' (in a bad way) while using another company's app. Not only was I able to fix the download issues on my site, but I was able to load over 2000 previous purchases back into my customer's accounts! the UI is super simple to navigate, and tech support is amazing! I should have started off with Sky Pilot 3 years ago, I could have saved myself a ton of hassle over this past weekend. If you sell ANY sort of digital files, you NEED Sky Pilot.
