Appreciate the app's capabilities and insights. Getting better all the time, and generally very responsive to customer service tickets. I wish there were more hands-on support at times, but can't complain about the information on self-help solutions provided.
The function of the app is great, but the clean up of it is a bit confusing. Would love for the products to sync automatically!
Recharge customer service has been consistently good! Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that ReCharge doesn't have access to the Bulk Discount logic that we wrote as a Shopify Script. We setup a rule, "Buy 3 - 4 items, save 10%, buy 5+ items, save 15%." The initial order is priced correctly, but subsequent subscription orders do not have the bulk discount, so we have to manually correct these. It's a bit of a pain. I believe this is caused by a limitation imposed on ReCharge by Shopify not giving API access to Shopify Scripts. (?) ReCharge recommended that we use their new Checkout / Cart, but that currently only supports Shopify Payments, and we're on Braintree. So we're basically at a Catch-22. But in general, ReCharge does an excellent job for us and our customers.
Interface is a little clunky and I wish there were better analytics, but Recharge gets the job done. Their customer service is terrific and was very patient with my team. As far as subscription apps go Recharge is the best for the money.
I love the customer service or support team 5 stars. They help me a lot to resolve my questions. I'm giving 4 star right now because I would like to have more filter options to customize my data.
Pretty solid app. We've definitely found it helpful and more user friendly than Bold's recurring billing app. We've been using Recharge for about 18 months and I've witnessed app enhancements and improvements that resolved some pain points we had in the beginning. Their support is also much better than when we first started: faster responses to initial outreach, faster resolution times, more skilled team troubleshooting. They've been doing great the past couple of months. I recently corresponded with Meredith to resolve some issues and to assist with some bulk data updates. She was fast, professional, courteous and just did what was needed quickly and accurately. Keep it up, team! There are some annoying little glitchy things that I wish didn't happen. For example, one-time products added to a subscription order frequently get permanently added to the subscription. But when the next charge tries to process, it can't because the one-time product triggers the out of stock flow and blocks the order from processing. It's also very common that when we create a new page for a one-time product, the page will display the "subscribe & save" button even though it's not even in Recharge's system. The only way we've found to work with it is to add and remove the product from Recharge's product list. Solvable but weird and a bit of a hassle. Overall, I think this is one of the best apps available for managing subscriptions. It's mostly solid with some little quirks and their support has improved greatly.
Many thanks to Diana for being tenacious about finding out what different fields in the Purchase Items report actually mean in the data!
Only issue for me is my store offers pickup and shipping and the app defaults to lowest shipping cost after the first order is made. So, if they order shipping on there first order the subsequent orders will default to pickup because its free. I have talked with tech support and the only work around is to manually add the shipping rate which is static. It's more work then it needs to be for an automated system.
Overall ReCharge is a very good app that provides the ability to offer subscriptions to our customers. The support team has also been very responsive and helpful in addressing any issues we have run into.
I do think that having some added customization/flexibility in the way bundles are set up and function as well as within the interface would be very beneficial and take the app to another level. Some things are a bit limited and have required workarounds.
We appreciate your feedback and for your time in leaving this review!

Excellent support! Nikola was great help. Documentation could be better tho. Some things are unclear like changing some things in bulk could be better documented.
We really appreciate your feedback and will be taking the time to bring your review up to the rest of our team for future updates. Thank you for the shout-out to Nikola!
