watch out, when they crop there image. There is no real return back. When they returned it back. Several images are damaged and not usable anymore and they leave you without real support. For large shops definitely not a good one.

I strongly advise other business owners to be extremely cautious when using Swift.

I paid for one of their higher subscription tiers for almost four years. During that time, Swift’s “optimisation” process cloned my Shopify theme templates rather than applying changes to the original theme. This was never disclosed.

I then added changes to my optimised theme, over years building my site up to it's now end stage. The result is that, because i used swift and because swift cloned my theme, the official theme updates can no longer be applied. My site is now locked into an outdated structure, and years of refinements are trapped unless I pay a developer to undo Swift’s work.

Swift has acknowledged the structure exists and is technically able to migrate the code to an updated theme, but they refuse to do so unless I pay for expert help again. I had paid for expert help years ago to make my site faster and i never saw the promised results, so expecting me to pay them again for something that is their fault is frankly an insult. Despite this, they continued charging me £30/month for years and repeatedly pushed me to pay for additional optimisation and “expert” services.

Key issues to be aware of:

Lack of transparency: You are not clearly told that optimisation may clone your theme and block future updates

Ongoing upselling: Repeated requests to pay for new optimisation and expert tickets despite already being on a high-tier subscription

Responsibility avoidance: When long-term issues emerge, they are framed as “out of scope” or your problem to fix

In my case, the service has left my site worse off than if I had never used Swift at all, and I am now paying to remediate the damage.

If you value long-term maintainability, theme updates, and clear accountability, I would think very carefully before using this service. Take it from me as a customer of years, they do not appriciate or respect your custom and i will be taking them to trading standards as misrepresentating their services.

Trust me, it's the best SEO app on Shopify! We've tried other similar apps, but Swift's team has been the most responsive. Julie always provided quick feedback and even helped us fix a bug caused by another app's developers.

I really enjoy using this app. It has a lot of functionality and is easy to use and doesn't require any technical expertise or knowledge of coding. The developer provides timely and excellent customer service. I would highly recommend them.

Not impressed, nor happy. Either the app or the work done by delevopers (+$175) managed to mess-up the theme, causing both design ( product titles disappeared under main menu) & usability issues ( most crucially the buy button disabled when a different variant was selected)

Since letting them know this yesterday, I can't access the app to see if they have responded to my support message ( I havent recieved an email, so doesn't seem so...)

The only thing I can do is uninstall and caution others against using this service.
