Shopify is multilingual since years, but Trustpilot refuses to. Invitations only in 1 language, not in different languages per domain / language of the buyer. Widgets are cheap, not possible to change alignment to left or right.
Shopify Multilingual has been out for 2 years. From your app it is not possible to select different language template based on the customer language. This is a really huge issue: you invited me to use SFA, however this can not be used because Shopify "New Order" notification is sent when the order is confirmed, not when the order is fullfilled.
You definitely have to update this app asap in order to be compatible with shopify multilingual api.
Hi Ghidini 1849,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us, we appreciate it in all forms. Changing the language template is currently not a feature compatible with Trustpilot but we would love to share this feedback with our teams. We are always working to improve our integrations and feedback like yours helps us on our quest to conquer those flaws.
When sending review invitations, you can choose when invitations should be created. Order confirmed is the default selection but you can switch to order fulfilled. Here's a guide to help you send review invitations and upgrade the settings. Terrible app - widget integrations don't work. I am paying nearly £200 a month for their service and I deeply regret it, their services do not reflect those within the agreement and I will be renouncing the contract void if this is not fixed. I 'product multi-source' widget won't even show up on my product page - trustboxes don't even appear when you drag and drop. Footer widgets only show on the landing page - if you add one on another page then it will publish and show two widgets on the landing page above another. I am more than technically literate with computers - I imagine how difficult it is for an ordinary person.
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. It looks like our widgets are disrupting your website performance. To help place the TrustBox widget on your page, you must know the total weight of your webpage. The average web page weighs around 1.6 MB and some eCommerce sites weigh 5MB or more. The TrustBox adds on an average of 50kB which depends on the type of widget you select and how much data it displays. To put it in perspective, on a very small page, a TrustBox will take over about 6% of the page’s total size.
Here’s a step-by-step video guide to help showcase your reviews with widgets on your webpage: https://support.trustpilot.com/hc/en-us/articles/4407738718482-Video-Showcase-reviews-with-widgets.

Thank you for sharing this with us, we appreciate feedback in all its forms. Our customer service teams work across multiple departments from Support and Content Integrity to Customer Success. Whilst we try to maintain a very high standard of customer service we understand that some interactions don't work out in our favour. However we do our best to respond to all enquiries made through the contact forms on our website or through our live chat facilities. If you'd like to find out more about our practices, we recommend visiting the legal section of our website, or reaching out directly to us on social media or via email with specific questions.
what a RIP OFF, I typed out off my reviews one by one on my site, trust pilot came to me site, tried to blackmail me to take it down and to pay there 2400 per year fee or they would sue me. I DECIDE IF I WANT TO SHOW MY REVIEWS, i hate that place, I am building my google reviews instead now. the price is NOT worth it, its way to expensive the people that pay it? well I have some sand to sell u if you want?
Thanks for sharing this with us. We're sad to hear that you didn't have a great experience with Trustpilot and by the sounds of it you're not in a rush to come back to us. If that changes we'd love to have you back. Thanks again for taking the time to share your experience with us and others.
STAY AWAY, the support is horrible, worst I have ever experienced, the tech is also way behind other providers such as Stamped.io and Yotpo. Go with one of those not TrustPilot!
We're sorry to hear that you've not had the best experience with us. We're constantly trying to improve our support functions so any feedback is really welcome. If you wanted to share your experience in detail with us directly so we can make sure others don't have a repeat experience that would be great. You can email us on email@example.com and we'll pass it on :)

Do not waste time on this review platform. It's not worth it. I'm reviewing Trustpilot based on my experience with them even before Trustpilot app is officially listed as a partner on Shopify App Store. It is too restrictive to get reviews from customers in order for the review to be considered as verified (or counted as Google rating). For instance (real experience) when customers previously unsubscribed from Trustpilot, they will NOT be able to receive the review trigger via email. It is too cumbersome for the customer to resubscribe and then leave a review for the business on Trustpilot (as advised by Trustpilot support team). Who would bother? And when customers went directly on the business profile and drop a review, they’re considered as “organic” and not verified and they are unable to share any photos. It’s just too much hassles and unnecessarily cumbersome in order to leave a review on Trustpilot all in the name of protecting transparency or whatever that Trustpilot claims. Thank you very much, I’d rather just pop over at Google review to do it instead. With all the restrictions that Trustpilot has put in place, guess what, you will still be receiving spam emails inviting you to purchase reviews on Trustpilot. So I guess tricks can still be done in order to get ample fake reviews on this platform despite all their claims to justify their restrictions that they have put in place. I'm certainly not bothered with this review platform anymore. It’s not worth the time on Trustpilot.
Thank you for writing a review. We're sorry you did not have the greatest experience with Trustpilot and sad to see you go. We're doing our best to improve our systems and feedback like this helps us to achieve this.
Trustpilot App will slow your site down and wreck your SEO. on top of that Trustpilot is the worst company to deal with and is home to fake reviews and rubbish support. mixed in with the fraudulent way they charge fees and up your prices each year. It's a damaging and harmful addition to your business and i suggest people look for an alternative.
Thanks for taking the time to share your experience with us, it certainly doesn't sound like you've had a good one! We're currently working hard to improve our support functions making it a better experience for both businesses and consumers. As well as our support functions, we're making changes and improvements regularly to our products such as APIs (or apps as you've referenced) these updates are made to improve site speed and SEO amongst other things. We use considerable resources to protect our platform from misuse, including a combination of fake detection technology, review monitoring algorithms and robots and over 50 highly trained experts. Our systems work extremely well but are not foolproof - our work to uphold the integrity of our platform goes on permanently. We are constantly looking at new preventative measures, including the use of additional penalties and actions, that will be used against anyone that tries to manipulate reviews. Again, thanks for taking the time to share your experience with us and others. :)
Absolutely horrible. Avoid at all costs. App is faulty and trustpilot is an absolute joke, overpriced with horrible support .
We're sorry you've had a bad experience with Trustpilot. We are always trying to improve our platform so any feedback is welcome. We would love if you can send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with more in-depth information about your experience and we'll pass it on. Thank you!
