There is a bug in its notification system, and as sellers, we cannot receive notifications when there is an order with the wrong address - even if we have set it up accordingly.
We have contacted the developer twice about this issue. Each time we contacted them, we received the notification email normally, but after a day or two, we no longer received the notification email.
We use an ERP system to process orders and it is important for us to be notified of address errors. I hope this review helps you guys improve your notification system.
I use this app and generally it works well, but it doesn't catch everything. I've had issues with some European addresses, doesn't stop people from entering the same street twice, etc...
If you have a large number of orders a month, it can get to be expensive. They should consider a better pricing model.
Why oh why does it not have SSL for the admin panel? Worried about the quality of the address verification if it does not use SSL.
Do they protect customer data for the Europe base? What other items are missing?
Thank you for pointing this out! We have just updated the dashboard to use SSL and are fully GDPR compliant.
This WAS a great app. But now it doesnt validate shipping address until AFTER the order is placed, which really defeats the purpose of an auto validator.......to stop it before an order is placed.
Unfortunately, this is a limitation from a recent Shopify update. You can still validate addresses during the checkout if you have the Shopify Plus plan or created your store before 2019. We'll reach out if anything changes.
