This has been a great App to build Back in stock request lists and trigger reminders and subsequent revenue, all in a simple automation.
This is one of my favorite apps, I have been using it for a few years now and the support is fantastic and quick, when we changed our theme, they reinstalled the button for us on our new theme with the custom edits we asked for and it looks great! Although this app isn't cheap, I have found it definitely worth having if you have out of stock products that you will be getting back in, you can see the sales come in as soon as you get stock back in! I'm currently on the small plan for $39.00 a month.
UPDATE: The most recent update allows you to set a threshold of items in stock before it sends emails out your customers. This is much appreciated!
The support team is always quick and helpful. They even helped up set up the back in stock modal on our collection page!

Back in Stock does exactly what the app suggests. It notifies your customers when an item is back in stock. It crawls every 2 hours and the system works perfectly.
The only reason I am giving this 4 stars is because of the lack of a notification threshold (i.e. only notify a customer when there is X amount in stock). Sometimes when refunds or cancellations are made - 1 item is added to the inventory and hundreds of customers get a notification email from the application. Then, they get frustrated when they reach the site and the item is out of stock again. So a threshold is definitely a must.
Back in Stock support responded to our request right away with a very detailed and helpful explanation. I was impressed with their responsiveness.

I'm a big fan of Back in Stock. We've used it for years. Every year, it just gets more valuable and drives more sales for us. The process to update customers on incoming stock would be way to labour intensive without this. The support is also very responsive.
its one of those apps that you install once and it keeps working in the back without you ever having to do anything. perfect, is does what it supposed to and without any fuzz, can really recommend!
