I signed up for a trial with Bing Shopping, expecting clear communication and fair billing. However, I only received an email three months later informing me that I had been paying for a 1,000-product plan, despite only having two products - which should have qualified for the free plan. At no point was I notified that I was being charged, nor was I given the opportunity to opt into a paid plan.
To make matters worse, Shopify support keeps dodging responsibility by repeatedly telling me to "reach out" to the app developer and request a refund - when it is clear that the app did not follow its own rules in the first place. Instead of making customers jump through hoops to fix their mistakes, they should take accountability and issue refunds automatically when these errors occur.
I have no interest in dealing with a company that operates like this. If you’re considering using Bing Shopping, beware of hidden charges and lack of transparency.
Hi Welsh Words, I believe we corresponded over email a few days ago.
From our end, I can see that you installed and started using the app in December on our small plan- which allows for 1K items.
We don't offer a free plan (although, that is a good suggestion! I'll add that to our roadmap).
Could you please respond to our email so we can arrange a refund?
The App ui don't load and only return an "Internal Error"
I am truly impressed with their level of customer support. I sent couple of emails asking questions, and they replied with to-the-point answers with details for the questions I asked. I can see their commitment to help us grow our business using their app and Bing Shopping.
Being somewhat as a computer nimbu, I downloaded the app and had no idea how to set this up.
Christopher contacted after I deleted it and was compassionate and understood my reasons - albeit irrational
Chris has spent many weeks setting up Bing and the shopping aspect on my account - for which I am incredibly grateful.
It is up and running and does as it says on the tin!
Maybe Chris and team should write an 'idiots guide' going forward as the app when it is working really does have a competitive edge over Google!

Christopher from Bing Shopping was amazing! He helped us set everything up and made sure that our shopping ad was set up correcting and working. He was in regular contact with me providing me with updates, answered all my questions and explained everything to so that I understood what he was doing. Amazing customer service and the app is awesome! I highly recommend it! Thanks Christopher for all your help!

Getting the Bing Shopping app has proven to be an excellent decision. Very functional with speedy results. Helps invaluably make the most of the new Microsoft Ads system. Could not ask for better customer support--really above and beyond. Also, an excellent guide to starting a MS Ads campaign is included. Very clear and accessible instructions.
