When it comes to images, there is likely more than meets the eye. Often overlooked and underestimated, images on the web have been getting more attention lately and their importance is growing for a variety of reasons ranging from purely supporting user experience and content to enabling users to visually find more products directly from image search itself.
This app made it so easy for me to optimise my site images - saved hours of time and really easy to use!
Seems like it would be great for stores that dont use variation listings, like we do.
quickly and easily put alt-text on all our images, as it says on the tin, however it doesnt seem to have the capability to identify and correctly alt-tag variations.
e.g. an item that comes in black, white, or chrome variations.
the alt-text for every colour is now "...in black white or chrome", from the main image, which would not be particularly helpful to a partially sighted shopper etc.
if the developers could add a variable value [product_variation] it would be 5-stars, but sadly we'll need to undo most of its changes for our store. since we rely heavily on colour variations.
otherwise, really cant grumble for a completely free app, if you dont use variations in your product listings, it should work great for you.
Great app used it for my e comm so far so good will report later if anything bad appears. I am on the free trial now.

Works quite well for the basics and nice automation, but on a PRO account, which for small business is quite pricey to get
