This app doesn't work. Sometimes it charges the core charge and sometimes it doesn't. Support has been poor and non responsive. They said they would look into it right away but then I never heard back from them, all the while I keep getting orders with no core charge added. Time to look for a different app that will do what this one is supposed to do
For our winery that needed to automatically apply tax free bottle deposits, it's really convenient. Rules are easy to create and easy to apply, very straight forward app.
Great app for custom fees application
We are using it to collect provincial tax, individual for each product variance
Responsive customer service, helped us through some early glitches where fees weren't linking correctly. Smooth sailing since then.
Linking different deposits/fees for different sized options cannot be done with product variants. You must create independent products and link deposits/fees to each item.
We use this to tie environmental fees to products, overall works well. Had a few issues bit support has been great. Without this our site wouldn't work.
Great customer service. Had an issue with my previous cheaper app constantly refreshing the cart and interrupting my customers when customizing options. And sometimes it wouldn't even work or display. But this app was clean, optimized, and runs great. No more weird refreshes. And it never misses adding the fee at checkout.
Canteen App has solved our problem of automatically applying deposit fees. A Key feature is that it works on Shopify POS and automatically applies the deposit fee when the product is scanned into the register.
The app does what it says and the developer is fast to respond with good solutions. Several different ways to use the app to help customers.
This app is an absolute game changer for our food business! We are able to add fees for recycling deposits, allowing us to keep track of the amount separate from the actual item cost.
