I just realized they updated their app offering different tiers. I've been with them almost 10 years. They put me on the top tier ($20/mo) when I'm only using bottom tier level of service ($5/mo). But I didn't even know they did this! Very frustrating! And my reports have started failing too! Maybe avoid? Also, unlike I said in previous reviews, I see nowhere to get support, they removed that! Very disappointed.

Actually, I asked them to do something very simple. I simply want to reverse order the report by the date. Support said they would have to do that for me. Great. I assumed it would take 5 minutes. After realizing oh, they didn't do it yet, he said it would be 3 hours. Meh, okay, makes sense. Even tho it's one silly line of SQL, they should just offer that option as part of the app. I finally get an email *the next day* saying it's done. I test it and the report is indeed sorted descending, BUT THE DATA IS ALL WRONG! This really pisses me off. This is the smallest, simplest thing I'm asking (from my perspective, I understand I am biased), and they take a day to do it, then mess up my report so now I have to recreate it. This really pisses me off. But, on the plus side the support chat is very responsive! --- Old review from 10/6/20
I used this to send sales reports to my partners. It was a bit tricky to figure out, and it still is, BUT the support was SUPER RESPONSIVE and helpful! It's been years since I touched the app, but the reports have been very reliable and well worth it! I was just adding a new report (after years), and I was having trouble with a new feature, and the chat support WAS SUPER QUICK AND SOLVED MY PROBLEM QUICKLY! Excellent! I'm going to start making more reports for myself. Great app, great price (I think I pay $15 a month, I started early w/ them, they may have changed their price by now, IDK)

Sir, we have a new version of Data Export, which allows you to apply instant filters and sort to the reports. You can apply multiple filters for fields that are present or not present in the report.

The reports are unreliable, they don't run when scheduled to which is a nightmare to work with and Shopify says it is an supported app sp I guess they haven't updated or done maintenance to new APIs

Support is working on reports that are online without making a copy of them. This is a serious problem in the process, I have never seen this level of incompetence before, it simply should never happen.

On top of this, support is making changes to the online reports used for logistics that have not been requested, making the report crash.

Very disappointed with the carelessness of support- staff said they would update the app because it was so slow but they deleted it and all our reports without any consultation. Having explained how important it was to our business the staff promised to restore things, and kept promising...until they went home for the weekend. During this time they promised a 24-hr solution but this never happened. We made is very clear how important the app was to our business but they didn't care less.
In the end we used Easy Reports which is much quicker and intuitive and slightly less expensive.

The reports are full of mistakes, missing items, double entries, etc.

Lots of reports but hard to set up as the 'live human chat' is so frustrating! The people on the other end seem to struggle to answer even basic questions (could be a language barrier as the chat is based in India?) If you need any historical data on your inventory this is not possible. I am sure when you figure what reports you need and how to adjust these to your needs the app will be of value but if you need help setting up or customising the reports it will be a time-consuming struggle!

I feel bad to put a 2 stars review as the support is very reactive and is trying their best to help you.

But the product itself was just built totally the wrong way. It's ultra complicated to use, I've been using several export tools already and the logic behind this app is just a nightmare to understand. It made me lost few hours, I need now to find an alternative.

They told me they will make a big update soon as they received other similar feedbacks. Therefore this review might not be relevant in the next few months.
