I signed up in 2023, and had a great experience, until now.
I was offered a free trial on Oct 29, 2023. I downgraded back to the free plan Oct 29, 2024, but was charged $99 for the premium version. I contacted chat support to have this fixed. They let me know that Shopify has to fix it. I contact Shopify, who lets me know that that is incorrect and that Fera needs to apply credits for the charge, and gives me all the documentation to give to Fear to correct the fee.
I contact chat with this information, and all of a sudden, 40 mintues go by and no one responds to the chat. I ask what is the hold up? Usually, I can chat and have an issued solved in 5 minutes. But today, I am ignored for over an hour.
Chat support comes and says they will review and get back to me. Another 30 minutes goes by. I ask when, he says he is swamped and can't get to me. I ask to be transfered, he says he is the only person online, and there is no phone number.
Also, as I am on the free plan, when I went to Shopify's end in the billing settings, Fera is going to charge me $9.99 on Nov, 27, 2024 for a premium plan I DON'T HAVE.
DO NOT USE THIS APP. Something is up, and there is no communication when they need to correct billing. I am so disappointed.
I'm not sure what happened because I had been using this app for a few years. It seems they had a rebranding of some sorts. Everything looks different plus all of the reviews I had have been deleted. I won't be using this app anymore and I cannot and will not recommend this app to anyone moving forward.
Worst app i have ever used. Nothing is structured correctly.
It also left code on my website that i now have to pay to have removed.
If I could give less stars i would.
I didn't like it. It was too difficult to use and embed into my Shopify website. Not great for digital products.
It's a good app but If you generate alot of money you have to pay 250$ a month at least that is just stealing I'm sorry.
If this way a normal price I would rate it 5 stars

Pathetic app. I can't change users. The verification email never shows up. Now I will have to find another app that can actually work.
The reason you weren't able to verify is because your email was bouncing since it was not fully set up yet.

PS: We responded to your message which you sent at 10:38pm on Sunday calling our team "stupid f*****g dips***s" this morning, despite it being Family Day holiday here in Canada. 😅
I installed the app and had issues with it importing reviews. I followed all instructions however its not working. I lodged an enquiry in the chat, it's been 5 hours and it's still not resolved. Getting a response is at least a 30min wait (it says someone will respond in a few min, unfortunately thats not true) and then a reply after is approx 20 to 30minutes. It's now 2:30am. Issue isnt resolved. I've got smile and yotpo and the responses are much faster, it appears the fera team is either really small and need more online agents or just not as responsive, either way the customer doesnt get assistance. So far it's been a poor experience.
The new pricing plan is just mad. My store doesn’t even sell for more than 2k per month and this app doesn’t seem to be viable for small businesses anymore. $49 per month is a joke from previous free plan. Why don’t they offer a plan for small businesses as it may grow in the future and pay premium pricing. Please consider.

You spoke, and we listened! As a startup ourselves, we totally hear what you're saying, and I'm happy to say that we have added in new pricing plans with smaller merchants in mind :D
The app has developed into rather unfortunate direction.
First of all, they put their logo everywhere. Secondly, it's hard to manage the reviews, you have to approve or disapprove and can't just delete the review or unpublish them.
And the most important factor is the cost: it is too expensive for what it is. Compared to other aps that offer more functionality, better design and easier handling for free or for much much less, I see absolutely no reason in using fera app for shopify.
