About this app
Create rules to flag or prevent known customers from placing orders on your store.
Fraud Filter can provide an additional layer of protection to help you fight fraud and avoid chargebacks. By using Fraud Filter's simple rule-based functionality you can easily set up warnings for suspicious orders, or block orders completely. When an order matches a filter you've created, Fraud Filter will flag it as suspicious to warn you or automatically cancel it for you, depending on what action you've chosen.

En general es bastante útil, ayuda a detectar la gran mayoría de intentos de estafa, pero la automatización de reglas es complicada de utilizar y no encontré ninguna manera de que cancele de manera automática los pedidos con alta posibilidad de fraude.
Avoid this app, don't waste your time on it. I am still getting orders from the customers who are blocked for filing false charge backs. This is create a rule by identifying all the key indicators which can identify the customers. For example: IP, Shipping address, phone number, card# etc. It doesn't even give a hint that this customer is on the block list. I email shopify support about it, but didn't get a resolution.
Hi there. Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback, we truly appreciate it. I'm sorry to hear the filters you've set up in the app don't seem to be working as expected. I'd encourage you to connect with our Live Support Team using this link (https://bit.ly/3c5icUc) so you can work with one of our advisors to get this resolved. - Blair, Shopify Support
It won't allow you to make a requirement for the BILL TO and SHIP TO addresses to be the same. This is key to stopping fraud for us. Credit card owner is never the person fraudulently using the card, and buying and having delivered our products. It is going to a different home address. Therefore making it obvious that two different addresses are needed in defrauding a company of their consumer good. Basic knowledge in fraudulent activity and easy solve for Shopify but they haven't.
Thank you for your review. I can definitely appreciate your need to prevent orders with high risk status. As such, I have shared your feedback with our developers for consideration.
In the meantime I do want to draw your attention to Shopify's built in fraud detection (https://bit.ly/3SAfef3) services. By switching to manual payment captures (https://bit.ly/3ZgomYY) and reviewing each flag you can choose to decline such orders. -Olivia, Shopify Support
