Merchants appreciate this app for its easy setup and professional design, which efficiently creates an FAQ section on their websites. The free plan is often sufficient, making it ideal for small businesses. Reviewers praise the responsive customer support and key features like customizable FAQs, contact forms, and live chat. The app integrates seamlessly, maintaining website speed, and offers customization options to align with store branding.
We use this app for our FAQ. Recently (September 2025) it revised its permissions to request full access to all our customer and order data. This is insane. We have no desire to give this app such sensitive data, just to use a FAQ. Regretfully, we may have to uninstall this app and migrate our FAQ to another app. What a waste of time.

To clarify, the recent permission update does not give us access to view or use your customer or order data. The request was made because of technical changes in Shopify’s requirements, but HelpCenter app only uses the minimum information necessary to run its features, and your sensitive data is never accessed or shared.
