Customer service Kate had been helpful in answering my enquires with regard to the new Shopify connector settings. It didnt take long for the online chat to link up with the agent. I would easily give it 4stars for the chat experience.

The new connector app settings were good and easy to select right from the quickbooks interface. More process of review and confirmation which I think is also good to ensure everything is in order before it gets into our books.

Still pending to resolve: Customer phone number was missing in the import as feedback during the agent chat.

But overall, I am satisfied with the improvement with some internal adjustments to suit to the new connector settings. Thanks Shopify for any new improvements that is to come!

I have used Quickbooks Online for years, but have never integrated our Shopify account. The process was pretty seamless, but where the service really shined was with the support staff. Jenny was incredibly helpful and took her time with me. We were able to communicate via chat for about 2 hours while she answered all of my questions and concerns. By the end of our session I left feeling more confident about the connector and the role it would serve for our business model. Great support from Maycel. We contacted the QuickBooks Connector team after the upgrade to the new connector and Maycel was quick, patient and precise: she went through each issue with us, opened a ticket for the development team and kept everything clear. The connector itself syncs our Shopify orders reliably (amounts and dates match Shopify to the cent), but for an Italian company selling across the EU there are still gaps: VAT codes on discount lines, 25% VAT rates matched to the wrong country, no class mapping yet, and no buyer name on receipts when customer tracking is off. The support experience made the difference.
