PLEASE READ this review before installing:

I added the app to our store because I needed help tracking data for backordered items. It seemed like a legit tool that could help streamline & manage preorders. As soon as I installed it, I didn't like the look & feel of the CTA's, and I didn't have time to play around with the design or learn the tool, so I simply "disabled" the feature in the settings, and put it on hold until I could dedicate more time to it.

BIG mistake. Within hours, customers contacted us that the "Add To Bag" CTA was missing from some of our products, and they couldn't shop items in our store. I quickly uninstalled the app, so that there wouldn't be any more bugs. (A little bit of lost revenue, but we caught it quickly enough)

I thought that was it until the next day, when I noticed on our collection pages that random items were stamped with the "Sold Out" icon. These are for items we indeed had in stock. After hours running around in circles with a Shopify guru trying to figure out what happened, we realized that SpurIT had left code on our site, despite having uninstalled the app. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE.

I'm giving them 2 stars instead of 1 because I called their phone number, and someone actually answered! She sent me step-by-step instructions on how to scrub their code from my site. (I'm assuming that this happens often) Within minutes, it was fixed.

So before you install the app, just know that if you try to uninstall it, there will be code left behind on your site, causing bugs re: availability of items. You'll have to manually delete it from the code.

Thank you for your feedback. If you are unclear how it works, there are several ways to do so.

1. Contact us via chat in-app.
2. Using the link provided in-app and also stated in the onboarding email, scheduled a free and unlimited 1-on-1 session with our onboarding team.
3. Self-help FAQ that could be found in-app, in the onboarding email and also the chat widget itself.

We had also sent an email to you but had yet to hear back.

As mentioned in our self-help FAQ you can cancel the subscription by uninstalling the app. You can read more here:

The best ever pre-order app on the Shopify app store. I've tried many other pre-order apps, but it super easy to set up. Doesn't need any manual work to prepare products for pre-order. It works out-of-the-box!

I would have loved for this App to work correctly, two attempts and communication with their Dev team we opted to uninstall and move on. If you can get the functions to work on both mobile and desktop you may have a chance but keep your eyes on its back end as at times it had a mind of its own. Shame.

I'm switching from a different app that's just eh, and you can't easily configure variants. Literally downloaded this super quick bc a customer dmd me to let me know she couldn't pre-order her out of stock size. Now it's fixed. And it doesn't redirect you to a new site. So easy seriously. I'll update if I have any issues.

Very simple to use, and very effective for helping to orchestrate pre-ordering when we are out of stock on an item. Great way to not lose sales while you're waiting for more inventory to come in.
