What merchants think

Feedback submitted

Merchants appreciate this app for its consistent quality, flexibility, and unique features like sleeve prints and private label branding. It's praised for its seamless integration with e-commerce platforms, user-friendly interface, and efficient fulfillment process. However, some merchants criticize its high prices, occasional unresponsive customer service, limited mockup diversity, and lack of sustainable clothing options. Despite some reports of slow loading times, its performance is generally seen as reliable and worth the cost.

Printful has been a terrible option for baby onesies and toddler tees. The designs often get printed crooked or off centered. In corresponding with Printful customer service, they indicated that Printful would not send a replacement product if the design was not off-centered by more than an inch. When it comes to garments for little ones, one inch is a big deal! And our customers would view that as a defect. Very disappointed with Printful.

Charged me for two products that I never knew were synced. Wouldn't give me a refund. Horrible customer service agents, do not know English and common reasoning. You're better off printing yourself.

Quality control is horrible too. Their prices are honestly outrageous, I can get a shirt printed locally in Canada for $11 per shirt on a 24 shirt order and it costs $22 per shirt on printful. (Also cost me $48 for a hoodie - how can you make a profit on that) Add on the fact that the quality is horrible and it takes forever for international shipping.

I would not recommend, maybe use it to test out a design but take things over after that our use something like teesprings. Plenty of better opitions. You will not make a steady profit with this company.

I'd advise you to take a look at the negative reviews and the fourms around the internet and make your own decision. (Many shopify reviews are left with the promise that their SEO scores will be increased)

I have thousands of products to add to my store. That will never happen with their "product push limit" of only 2 products a day. Seems as if they only care about their established customers and not customers that are new and starting up.

Hey there,

Thank you for sharing your review! We're truly sorry that this has been an unpleasant experience for you!

This wasn't an easy decision as we understand how important it is to start a new store. To help manage the order volume during this peak season, we're proactively introducing some product push limitations for customers located in the US and Canada. This should help us keep our fulfillment estimates consistent, so your customers get their holiday orders within the expected time. This only affects new products and not the existing items in your store. As soon as we can handle more order volume, we will lift the restriction. Please follow the newest updates here: https://www.printful.com/fulfillment-updates

Impostors! There is no way that a business could be so successful with such mentally handicapped standards as their own. I can easily infer they are some kind of frauds. I showed them proof of how embarrassingly off they were in their production and they couldn't even give me a refund. If they do this on the very first try, it is a guarantee that they will try to pass on their mentally handicapped mistakes as my own. Their very high price is NOT justified with sloppy errors like that. They should consider going out of business for good. How do I know they aren't doing this just to force me to go out of business, so they can steal my intellectual property? They are very unprofessional, so much so, I think it was deliberate.

BE WARNED: I consider this yet another example of big business sabotaging small business. It fraud in my eyes.

I give them F.

WARNING: NEVER INSTALL PRINTFUL IF YOU HAVE ANY OTHER MOD OF POD APPS INSTALLED.
Installing Printful with OTHER MANUFACTURING ON DEMAND OR PRINT ON DEMAND vendors can destroy the shipping profiles. If you uninstall both, Printful will recreate the shipping profiles, but you lose your whole catalog of designed products on Printful and according to the company, the only option is to recreate them.
Never uninstall Printful or you will lose your designed products. While their support was attentive, they have no way to restore your store's products on their platform - they apparently do not make any backups. Poor design.
Additionally, as we have seen, any order that contains a PRINTFUL product and someone else's may reject the shipping address.
WE HAVE DISCONTINUED THE USE OF PRINTFUL.

Thank you for reaching out! Printful can co-exist with other POD platforms, however, it is true that if you uninstall the app, it would remove the sync and you would have to re-create the items from scratch. We would advise saving your products as Product Templates first, in case you need to adjust your settings/plugin. You can also add this feature request here: https://www.printful.com/feature-request.

I have launched my store using Printful lately. All my orders are impossible to be tracked. I mean you can track them up to a certain point. Fulfilment was in Latvia, and after the parcels were sent abroad there is no tracking of them as if they were lost. Printful rep tells me to contact the Latvian Post and that it is in transit and she understands my concerns!!! She was not helpful and could not give any answers as if it was a bot. I am so disappointed I'll have to refund my client. DON'T USE THEIR SERVICES ON YOUR FRONT STORE UNTIL YOU CHECK THEIR DELIVERY SERVICES!!! CAUTION!!! Poor Customer Service!

Hey there, thank you for sharing your review and we are truly sorry to hear your experience hasn't been the best lately! We'll review the communication you had with our customer support internally.

I completely understand the current shipping delays can be very frustrating. Once the parcel is handed over to our carriers, we have no control over the shipping speed, especially, now, when everything is delayed due to transportation and social restrictions in place.

Once the order is sent abroad, it will remain with this status until it's received in the recipient's country and the first scan is made the tracking information should be updated then. In the meantime, the parcel can be in the queue on the plane, sorting centers, etc. The pending packages rarely get tracking updates about waiting in line which may give the impression that they're lost in transit. We will do our best to advise our customers of the wait times we receive from our carriers. Please follow the latest updates on our Fulfillment Updates page here: https://www.printful.com/fulfillment-updates.

Seems to be predatory in terms of pricing. Very unclear what profit is being made after fees, currency exchanges, etc. Lots of products and colours unavailable in UK. Expensive postage for sample orders which are limited to 3 items.

Hello!

Thank you for your review and for sharing your experience.

We would only charge you for the fulfillment of orders. You can always subscribe to our Printful Pro and Plus plans for additional features, but it wouldn't be mandatory and the basic plan is free.

The price you see in our product catalog would include the product itself + one print (front print for T-shirts, for example). Additional prints, possible digitization fees, shipping and taxes (if applicable), wouldn't be included in this price.

As taxes (if applicable) and shipping fee depend on various factors like the size of the order, final destination and other factors it wouldn't be possible to include it in the price before purchasing.

Thank you once again for your time and honest feedback!
If you ever have any questions - don't hesitate to reach out to our support team at support@printful.com or our live chat and we will be happy to help you.

I submitted a scan of an original cyanotype that's been successfully and precisely color-matched on numerous apparel and paper products by another POD vendor, but the blue in my Printful sample gaiter turned out cobalt blue instead, and showed none of the gradations of the original image. (I have a photo that shows the huge discrepancy, but apparently can't post it here). The file was created according to file guidelines, using color profile sRGB IEC61966-2.1. Yet I was told the print result was "to be considered expected." I am removing the app: I can't use a vendor that can't even remotely match my submitted art.

Hey, Karen!

Thank you very much for your feedback. We're sorry to hear that the print result on the neck gaiter didn't meet your expectations. Indeed due to the printing method used and the fabric type, heavy cyan tone designs won't match the original print file perfectly. A closer color match can be achieved on different product types such as posters and DTG prints. We sincerely hope that you'll consider giving us another chance in the future. Don't hesitate to let us know via feedback@printful.com if you have any additional feedback.

An absolute horror show, spend months setting up your store and they decide to start moving things to Latvia and charge 21 percent taxes, they also take up to 10 business days to ship a simple t-shirt they have on file and they also cancel orders with no justification whatsoever...beware these guys, they are terrible, use anyone but them if you actually want to succeed with your business. I'm getting my stuff out of there as fast as possible, I suggest you don't even waste your time in the first place, you will be sorry

This was the WORST app I have ever used on my Shopify store! I have wasted so many hours designing items only to have the site CONSISTENTLY disconnect from my store for NO reason, delete my designs for NO reason and constantly having glitches!!! I have deleted and reconnected my account several times already and after several months of not using the app I decided to give it another try and it got WORST!!! I don't have any of these issues with my other apps! I am so disappointed because Printful have good quality items but when I say I have wasted HOURS and HOURS using this app, I mean that in the most honest way! I will NEVER use this app again, and I definitely won't recommend it!!!
