Printful is a great Print on Demand company. I've ordered samples and can say that the quality is quite nice. No chemical odor, packaged individually and shipped in a timely manner. The reason I gave it a 3 stars is that the delivery package looked like the products were shoved in a small delivery bag, so when I received it, it did not look appealing. Also, since I'm based in Canada and my customers likely will come from Canada to start, the customs/duties is likely going to make a negative impact.
Thank you for your review, we appreciate hearing from you!
As you mention some concerns with the quality of the shipment you received, I will be reaching out to you shorty via email for some additional details on these concerns.
I also wanted to let you know that we appreciate your feedback on the customs duties that will be applied to shipments which are shipped over to Canada, as this helps us improve our shipping system and the shipping methods we offer.
I hope that we can improve your experience with us and look forward to our ongoing collaboration! :)

I don't understand how we do not have stock all the time for products - every time we create something with stock you have - before even selling it - you are out or discontinued.....this does not help a growing business succeed.
Hi!
Thank you for leaving a review. We're sorry to hear about the products in your store.
If a product is showing up as out of stock, it could be due to various reasons - settings in Shopify (inventory tracking), settings in Printful (selling region), or that the products are actually not available at the moment.
Please reach out to our support team directly at support@printful.com to confirm the situation in your case as perhaps that is something that can be resolved. Hope to hear from you soon!
When you upload your art for your online store, you have to create another template for a manual order. You are doing twice the work Plus you have to create different template for shirt sizes! Hoping they can follow Printify's easy to use system of creating products
It's a decent app I still don't understand why it wants to sync all my products and get involved with other aspects of my store. Print stuff, that's all I want quit asking me to sync my other products. it's annoying.
prices are high but good for just starting out, hat printing is not the best and they charge $19 how are you supposed to compete with companies like lids etc , t-shirts are good so far from my experince
Great variety of product options, and an easy to use service, but products are priced way too high.
Website is fairly easy to use, though the app wouldn’t function on its own inside of Shopify, I had to login and use it on Printful’s home page. Which worked and apparently had the same features, but was annoying. On my first sample order, two of three shirts were misprinted, and their print didn’t survive one wash, even though we were sure to follow Printful’s washing guidelines to give them the best chance. To their credit, it was easy to submit a complaint on the situation, the response was prompt, and printful sent us replacements of those two shirts. These were not misprinted, but print quality was clearly still poor, and they, too didn’t hold up to their first wash. I’m a bit baffled that this company is as successful as it is, and that Shopify would recommend it on their print-on-demand tutorial videos? Surely this can’t be the standard experience. Even if I happened to draw a bad hand twice in a row, I don’t like the odds for potential customers. These are products I wouldn’t sell cheap to remote strangers, let alone use to represent my business in person. Here’s to hoping I just had a bad go and this isn’t as scammy as it seems. Maybe they should work on quality control? In the mean time, I’ll pass. UPDATE, REVIEW CHANGED FROM 2 to 3 STARS: I wasn’t going to bother to ask for a refund since Printful had already sent replacements for the misprinted shirts, but they followed up with me after this review and ended up giving me a full refund. In the end we could only guess that the “heathered” t-shirt blends don’t hold the print as well as well as uniform cloth. Understandable, but still a little frustrating that they offer those blends at all if that’s the case. Still, customer service was great and prompt, and with this new info I will cautiously consider them in the future.
Hey there!
Thank you for your feedback. We pride ourselves on the quality of the products we provide and are sad to hear about your experience. Let us assure you that receiving a damaged product twice in a row is very rare, and we would still be happy to fix any errors made by us.
Printful App within Shopify should work just the same as Printful website. We will follow up with you to find out more about your experience!

The integration works really well. No major drawbacks at all. However, for each Size and Color variation you have to assign the same model all over again. The best solution so far has prepared ScalablePress. There you may bulk assignment for the different sizes and colors.
As mentioned in the previous reviews the major disadvantages are: prices and prolonged turn around period. I would personally recommend you to check other POD Shopify apps this includes Print Aura and Pressera.
I think this is good and very convenient but could be better. I do not see a way to print on the back side of a shirt or the sides. It would also be good to be able to print labels for those that have private label businesses. Having the option to contact the printer and letting them know exactly what and how we want it to look like, would be a great help in the meantime.
I'm new to this but I also did not see a way to provide our own packaging and hang tags. I guess I could buy them and have them sent here first? If someone could reach out and let me know what the options are that would be great.
Last but not least, I think you could use different images for the T shirts. The wrinkled shirt looks horrible and some of the models do not fit their shirts very well. I think you can sell more of the other shirts once you get better images. That's probably why the first two are the popular choices right now.
I like the customization and wide variety of products. Lately halfway through the design process the design disappears and you got to start all over again. Don't know if it's the website or the search engine I use.
Hey! Thank you for sharing your review! Could you please send us more information on this to support@printful.com? We'd like to check this error for you.
