Update: 10/27/20 - issues with the automation persist with regard to inventory levels. Only fix for the conditional logic appears to be scheduled to roll out 1st quarter 2021. Updated rating to reflect.

App is very robust. Way better than any of the other print on demand apps. Haven't tested any samples yet.
I would recommend printful because it's super easy to use and understand. Also it's has great features and all the help you need to set up your store and products. To start earning money as soon as possible.
