Quality control - TERRIBLE.
Sizing - TERRIBLE
SHIPPING to CANADA is costly and takes FOREVER
SIZING - their consistency with sizing is not good. I ordered samples in the leggings and fitted dresses to have for clients to try on who came to my house. The medium dress my client ordered in a medium was 2 inches shorter in length and smaller through the waist than the medium sample dress I had. The other client ordered an XL dress and if you can believe it was 3 inches shorter than the what the sizing chart from Printful indicated. I measured the items myself against the sizing chart that Printful supplies and YES they were WAY OFF. So Printful refunded me for these items but these clients will not be back. They are from the small town where I grew up so this is a real set back for my local business here at home and so disappointing.
QUALITY CONTROL
It's poor. They are wonderful about sending out a reshipment but they are not helpful in fixing the problem. My first problem was with a pillow. The first pillow I got had stitches showing on each end of the zipper. There was no way I could even use it as a sample pillow. They sent me a new one and it was just as bad. I called in wrote an email etc with my complaint and I agreed to have another pillow sent out. Third pillow has the same problem so I have deleted this collection on my store and I'm looking for a new supplier.
The stitching on their leggings I have ordered is also below standard. When you stretch the fabric the stitching pulls and is far too visible especially all up and down the bum.
SHIPPING - I placed my last order on Aug 3rd and today is Sept 15th. 5 weeks waiting for my order. AGAIN if you are shipping to Canada don't plan on having happy customers. Regarding taxes for Canadians - Printful does not collect taxes nor do they indicate on their packing slip when you collect taxes from your linked store like Shopify. Therefore your customers in Canada will end up paying taxes and a handling fee at the door when the parcel is delivered. All my customers in Canada have paid their GST/PST twice.
Excellent way to expand your ecommerce store without having to stock inventory
this app has helped me start a business. it has allowed me to make selling a product simple and easy.
so easy, to follow procedures, its make me help to show all items, maybe sometimes is slow to complete proscess.
I've used this app since the day I started months ago. I've always had issues with it though. Whether it's an issue with the order itself or items always being out of stock. I recommend this app as a fall back option not your first choice. With printful my most popular items have gone out of stock and have just never been replenished or restocked. That's so frustrating. Consider trying AOP+.

We're sorry to hear that your experience with us has not been great, but we do hope that we can improve it moving forward.
As a print-on-demand dropshipper, we keep a relatively small stock on-site and restock a product only after you've placed an order for it. This allows us to offer cheaper product prices and a larger selection of products to you. Restocking usually takes 2-3 business days and is accounted for in the estimated fulfillment times.
We understand that sometimes these products can go out of stock with our supplies and recommend setting product alternatives to speed up fulfillment of orders that have products, which are temporarily out of stock.
Another thing we recommend is checking in with the Availability tab on each product's page in our Product Catalog, to see which product variants are in stock with us currently.

We've spent a few months using Printful with our apparel store and spoke with the people at customer support plentiful of times. As another person mentioned here in the Shopify reviews, they do indeed, treat you as a consumer and not as a business relationship. There is no friendly business relationship with these people. In all the times we spoke with them, it felt like we were speaking with a copy & paste robot. No smiley faces or insightful comments about our store or design. They just want to get right to the point and push us far away as possible.
There was one time where we saw a dead store on the "used by" page. We sent them a message and asked if we could be featured on that page. They sent us a message back saying they'll consider it. The next day, they rearranged the store on that page and replaced the dead store with another one other than us. We were quite disappointed that they didn't send us an email back saying they were thankful for our comment or at least apologising for not being able to put us up on there. No communication whatsoever.
Another thing to mention is the quality of T-shirts you'll receive. The fabric of the T-shirts are nice, nothing wrong with it. The printing quality, however, is not the best. The printing of the inside label that we received was like an eraser on fabric. If you rub it a couple times with some friction, it'll start fading away. We sent an email describing the quality of T-shirt that we received and they sent back a standard copy & paste thank you and we'll look over this, etc. We were expecting for them to add some truthful comments or an insight of what the real expectation is.
Overall, the people at The Printful will treat you like a regular consumer. Between The Printful and us, there is absolutely no friendly business relationship from what we see.

they lost our 1st order and could not refund to us. They pushed the responsibilities to local post stating that the postman lost it. well, we lost our reputation and a client due to that.
