Pros:
Good variety of t-shirts.

Easy to use - great system to upload, choose colors, sizes, etc.

Cons:
Quality control issues - Lots of off-centered, tilted mishaps. Customers don't like that.

Prices are crazy high, leaving not much room for profit, unless you can convince people to buy a $35 t-shirt somehow.

Fulfillment takes a LONG time.

3 stars overall, mainly cause they really don't have any competition. If someone else could offer the same t-shirts with an equally-easy uploading system, we'd probably switch asap.

PROS: Awesome Concept, Awesome App, Awesome Support, Awesome Integration

CONS: Prices are two high to make any real profit so it's a great way to get your brand out there and generate a following and not make any money. Then once you a following stop using them and do everything in house or use a different print company. It's also very hard to setup I had 3 people working on loading 50 designs over the course 2 or 3 months each working 30 hours a week and we finally just got the site going. It works great once you get it setup but there is a lot of prep work you have to do to make it happen.

SUGGESTIONS: I don't know if this possible but if there is anyway you can get the costs down on your products that would be great otherwise your force us to sell T-Shirt for $30 to $35 and lets be honest no one is spending that on t-shirts with all the other t-shirt sites out there selling shirts for $10 to $20 a shirt. The canvas prints we can say is "Art" so we can jack the price up because it's an art print but the bread and butter money comes from t-shirts and posters and if there is no more profit in these things where we can reduce prices. We could never count on this as our main source of business. This is just a nice "extra pocket change" type of businesses. If we could get retail prices down to $19 a shirt with shipping included in that price and get the costs down to $13 with shipping included it would be worth it. The problem is by the time you add shipping your costs are around $20 to $22 depending on sizes so in order to make any money you have to sell them at $30 which is a hard sell. Especially if you want to run promos like free shipping on everything over $75. So I would recommend getting the prices down for re-sellers because your prices are like retail prices not wholesale.

Also.. yeah it would be cool if it was a little easier to setup but we can deal with that at least.. but the prices are a killer..

I would think they are going to shoot themselves in the foot because all your doing is giving us a platform to get our brand out and the first chance our brand takes off we are looking for ways to reduce the cost and the first way to do that is to stop using printful. So I would think they would want to keep our business and the way they do that is lower their prices otherwise I'm just going to use them for a year, get my business going and say good bye to them and do everything either in house or with another company.

VERDICT:
I recommend them still even after my little rant about prices, you can't beat an automated business for $30 a month. Once the designs are done and you recovered your cost there it's pure profit it's just disappointing that there is not more of it because the margins are so slim so we really need to do volume. Which is hard when your selling shirts at $30 a pop. All that said though.. great company.. great people ... quality products.

This is the best print on demand company for shopify, but its kind of a shame because it's not very good. I have orders from exactly 7 days ago that have been submitted, and I have been charged for, yet they have not even began fulfillment. In addition to the embarrassingly long fulfillment times, the print quality is not always the best. In a dryer, the designs will fade after only a few washes. I am only using it now because I have no other options. I will switch as soon as I can. One thing I can say is that the app is nice and the UI is far superior than others, however i'm really not satisfied with the company itself.

I absolutely LOVE it now that I have the hang of it. I was setting it up for a true Music Merch shop...and now there is sure to be an offshoot shop for a friend who has been helping me out. Top Notch!

Been using Shopify for some years now, haven't been consistent with my business but every time I log back in its something new and innovative with the app. Very much the key to having a successful commerce business in todays time. Looking forward to making a Million dollars this year with Shopify courtesy of "Millionaire Vibes" hoodies.

I've used Printful for 4 years and while their Shopify integration and online interface is top notch, easy to use and far superior to their competitors, their products and service are a mixed bag. You definitely have to test individual items and stay on top of every order. Some things, like their unframed prints, are great. Other things, like their shirts, are not a quality I could comfortably charge anyone money for. Still others, like hats, are sometimes great, and sometimes bad. Their biggest struggles seem to be customer service and shipping, which have gone drastically downhill in the last year. Customer service, if for anything more than a replacement for a faulty order, often seems to have language issues in understanding details and situations, leading to days of back and forth before getting resolved or given up. Packages often take longer to deliver and seem to disappear for a day or two in the midst of tracking their progress, especially since they have switched to DHL. Orders from California are almost always good, those from North Carolina often seem to have more problems. When an order arrives faulty, they do make it up quickly with a replacement or refund. That said, these are the big guys with tons of customers. They've been around longer than their competitors and aren't going anywhere, but it feels like they keep growing and somehow never get over their growing pains. They aren't awful; they're worth using, but be sure to test each product first, and don't rely on them as your only product source.

These guys have actually been cheaper overall than my local printing company - and it's great that I can have the items delivered to me (to deliver to my customers directly) or they can be mailed straight to the customer (with no fulfillment/shipment work on my part). So far, everyone has been happy with their items - haven't had any quality issues. Placement has always been right. They make a great addition to my other products to be able to offer custom items and just graphic items in general (mostly tops). It can take time - which is hard for me (as I like to get my customers orders shipped out same day) so I always notate in the description that these are being processed and sent to them directly and to expect an extra 1-2 weeks for processing. But that's to be expected.

Anywho - I do recommend them!
