SC Product Options

A very useful app and support team are super responsive. Thank you, Dylan for such amazing support.

We needed a solution that would allow our customers to customize some products. We also needed to increment the pricing when customization was selected, and hide the customization fields if customization wasn't selected. This is the ONLY solution in the store that met all of our needs!

In case you're looking at other options, let me save you some time. I first tried adding line item properties myself but after a couple days wrestling with the code I concluded my time was too valuable. Next I explored some of the cheaper store apps for adding custom fields to a product. It took a while to integrate an alternative app with our skin and it was only after I was done that I realized that the app wouldn't impact the products price. In fact, while some of the other custom option apps support conditional relationship for option visibility, this is the only app that will also impact product pricing.

The Bold team offered to install this app for a nominal fee and while they promise a 2 day turn around I was up and running the very next morning. App does just what we needed, and the simplified variant management is a wonderful bonus. Highly recommend.

Bold is the best app for offering custom options to your customers. It can be so overwhelming and confusion for you and your customers. The different options and conditional logic feature make building customer options easier for your customers - and that's what we all want! What makes Bold even better is the customer service, Samantha and Rony were so quick and efficient to help me with my request. Highly recommend this app!

We use this app to add a custom monogram on some select products in our collection. Works like a charm and customers love to have their products personalized! Bold Commerce also provides a complimentary install service if you should need. In our case, Michael was very helpful in getting this setup properly because of our custom theme. They knew was need to be done and did it very quickly.

I would love to give this app, which I upgraded to the Premium level, and its sister app, Quantity Breaks, a five-star review as it shows such promise, but I can't. I signed up on the 12th and 13th respectively and launched on the 23rd. I was desperately trying to get my products, most of which have minimum set quantities, to show the correct price.
Apparently I have pay for a Bold Apps expert to ensure that a product, which for example, comes in a set of 25 shows "25" in the Quantity box (despite being able to enter 25 units having no discount and 26+ units with a $ or % discount etc in Quantity Breaks), and not "1". Customers can also edit the minimum 25 in the cart to 1 so something is seriously amiss.
Bold Apps seems to be a victim of its own success because no coding can be done until late May and every time I have checked in the last week, Bold Apps live chat has no-one available to undertake chat. So you have to play email tag.
Proceed only if you are an expert coder, have all the time in the world, and only sell items in single quantities.

I would absolutely recommend this app!!
We have loved using the Bold Product Options app along with our Shopify store. It has given us the ability to add additional options for products to our website. It has been great to make the shopping experience better for our customers.

The customer service is always great. Deelen helped me figure out the issue we were having and walked me through step by step on how to fix the issue. They continued to help me even though I didn't know what I was doing and made sure our store was running correctly.

Dan has also been fantastic. He reached out to me when I stated that there were things I would change about the app and he has helped make sure those changes were made.
