True review of the app, I have had it installed since July 2022. It has always been temperamental and was never sure it was really working. Since they updated the AI, it's been unstable. Over half of my products (883) show a long title error, such as [example of a long title], which affects my listings. When I open the app, they all show up fine and are within the 60-character limit. I have 331 images with no alt text, but again, they all show in the app with a title and fine. The past four months have been challenging; they've said they are fixing it, but it hasn't happened. Alternatively, they could resync the products, which would wipe out the data we entered, and use their AI info, which isn't very accurate and usually has errors we have to fix manually, like [specific error examples]. I've requested a refund of [specific amount] or a credit to my account for the unresolved issues and broken features. The response I received was that we'll try to fix it; however, you've had four months to address it. Just saying it is fixed, then I research those pages, and they are still broken, or new pages have issues since they resynced the app. When they resync the app, the problem moves to another product, so you're chasing it. When you contact support, they often resync without asking, which can hide the problem. I will update this review when I get a refund for my unused balance and a credit on my account!
The last thing I want to do right now is start all over with another app, but it is clear I am wasting money and losing sales on this one.

Hi there,

We’re saddened to hear about your experience and to see that it led to this review. We completely understand your frustration, especially after relying on the app for several years and we apologize for any inconvenience caused.

After reviewing your store, we confirmed that the recent AI generation issue was caused by a temporary issue with our OpenAI integration that only began within the last day, and our engineering team is already working on a fix. We also reviewed the other concerns you raised regarding Bing and Google Webmaster Tools. Many of the reported warnings, such as HTTP warnings, missing alt text on theme assets, long titles, and H1 notices, are informational reports generated by those platforms and are not necessarily an indication that the app has failed to optimize your store, as they do not take into account the purpose or context of the pages being analyzed. We’ve provided a more detailed explanation of these reports in our previous message. That said, if you could provide a few sample URLs for each type of warning, I'd be happy to review them individually and provide a more detailed explanation of what each report is referring to specifically.

Additionally, we checked your Google Search Console data and confirmed that your store continues to show healthy growth in search impressions over recent weeks, indicating that Google is continuing to crawl and surface your content in search results.

We know this doesn’t change the fact that you’ve experienced issues in the past few months, and we appreciate you bringing them to our attention. Our intention has never been to hide problems by running re-syncs, but rather to apply the safest troubleshooting steps available while we investigated the underlying cause. Your feedback has also helped us identify and escalate issues that have now been fixed by our engineering team; and one that is still currently being worked on.

We've also sent you an email to further discuss the next steps.

Cheers,
Darrel
