It's worth noting that the basic Shopify currency conversion is pretty good. There isn't a whole lot of reason to install any currency converter if you plan to use the "free" version ... because most, including Best Currency, do nothing more than add a drop menu with flags to your site. And, speaking as a veteran UX designer, that really doesn't matter as long as the option is available and the conversion functions as expected.
I do plan to upgrade to the paid version for 2.5 reasons:
1) The added features are worth the cost of upgrade. Again, as a designer, I appreciate redundancy in design—the more queues you can give visitors the better.
1b) Visually, this is the nicest-looking converter in the app store.
2) The customer service from Grizzly Apps is bloody fantastic. I had a non-emergency issue that was resolved off-hours, over a long weekend, and I never asked, nor expected such a quick turnaround. Above and beyond.
