I have been a Postscript customer for years and unfortunately had an extremely disappointing experience that ultimately caused us to leave the platform.
We were on Postscript’s legacy credit billing system and purchased SMS credits as we needed them. After a plan downgrade, 14,327 paid and unexpired credits disappeared from our account, representing approximately $144 that we had already paid Postscript.
I contacted support immediately and provided screenshot evidence showing the credit balance before it disappeared. Their own support representative acknowledged the missing credits and told me the issue was being escalated to billing to investigate and locate them.
Instead of correcting the billing issue, we were repeatedly told that because our account was on their legacy billing system, Postscript no longer had the ability to troubleshoot or restore credits and that we should migrate to their newer usage billing system.
Migration was not the issue. We were simply asking Postscript to provide the credits we had already paid for or refund their value.
Postscript never confirmed that migrating would even restore the missing 14,327 credits. Eventually, support explicitly told us that they were unable to add the missing funds back as credits. They acknowledged that they did not want us to “lose out on what [we’ve] spent,” yet no refund, reimbursement, account adjustment, or other resolution was offered.
During this process, multiple support tickets were marked resolved even though the billing dispute was still unresolved. Messages were repeatedly shown as read without substantive responses, and we had to open additional tickets just to try to get someone to address the actual issue.
After years as a customer and tens of thousands of dollars spent with Postscript, I find it unacceptable that a billing issue involving paid credits was handled this way. A legacy billing system may no longer be their preferred product, but customers should not lose money they already paid simply because Postscript says it no longer has the tools to correct a problem on that system.
We ultimately had to file a dispute with our credit card company, export our subscriber data, cancel our Postscript account, and move to another SMS provider.
This entire situation could have been resolved very simply by restoring the 14,327 credits or refunding the $144 we paid for them. Instead, we spent days opening tickets, escalating the issue, and repeatedly explaining the same billing problem without receiving a resolution.
After this experience, I cannot recommend Postscript to other retailers or businesses.

UPDATE 9/3/2026 while we were waiting to transfer to another service Postscript removed $43 worth of credits! So a total of approx $187 was taken from us via credits. 0/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! Its one thing to have a faulty billing system its on ANOTHER LEVEL to admit that and then refuse to refund or reinstate any credits. WILDDDDDD!
