I can't completely rate the app until I actually use it. But i do like the fact that you can send mass emails all in one.

I tried to use it in lieu of G-Suite or Office but it seems super clunky that way. I was hoping to send individual emails to prospective clients, but you have to draw from a list of already subscribed members. If you people, it doesn't seem to allow you to select individuals, only lists and lists only seem to come from those that subscribe on Shopify (vicious circle). Seems like a lot of work to do something simple like send individual, not automated emails. The system seems fine for broadcast emails and newsletters.

The Shopify Email app is meant to allow you to send out bulk, marketing emails. this app is really great to market your business through emails. I do want more templates and options to include photos
I have the same app on my other store and it was working fine (some time a go) Now on this shop I'm not getting any notifications by subscribing to newsletter. I'm not getting welcome emails .I'm not getting any emails with welcome discount code. I tried to sign up with 3 different email addresses but not a one got any kind of notification. It does show my subscribers and i can send emails manually . I checked forum and zillion people have the same issue since last year but no one give any kinda solution ? Can i have some help?

Easy to use and navigate, for a non tech savy person. Great choice in organizing emails.
This is a very good and fast way to send out marketing emails. Unfortunately, most of our clients are using spf and dmarc and our mail servers use those mechanism as well to block phishing emails, therefore, anything sent from here will be categorized as spam or sent to junk folder or rejected. Due to mail security reasons, Shopify and any similar app providers shall provide the users a way to use their own mail server to send out mails. Sendgrids and many other mass mailing servers are being abused by hackers to steal money from bigger corporations by faking the email from or misleading from and messages...etc.

Great app, more improvement could be implemented, like more templates to chose from. But overall amazing. Great to see shopify finally implement more things that we can actually utilize for a benefit. Update: Amy from Customer Support contacted me and solved the issue. Appreciate their prompt response on this matter!! Tested the app and it works fine and gets the job done.
I read on Shopify's newsletter that Shopify Email is available globally since a week ago. But when I tried to install it, it says:
"Shopify Email is coming soon
Shopify Email is not available for your store yet. The app will be automatically installed for you when it becomes available."
Why roll it out when its not available? It frustrates your customers.
